Does the replenish offer any cleaning properties, like a detailer that can be used to remove light water spots, light scum lines, bird droppings, etc? Or should the surface be completely clean before application?
hi super great video i always follow you 2 question after buffing polishing and seal what can i use for maintenance im in miami fl second what product to use for issing glasses to remove scratch and put it clearly please
Use Starke Replenish for maintenance. It’s a silica spray. You would have to polish out the isinglass with a da polisher to remove the scratches. Starke ignition and Adam’s microfiber pad
I have no idea what the condition of the boat is in. You have to at least run a compound and polish before you ceramic coat. All the oxidation needs to be free from the boat. Then once the coating is applied and cured, just wash it with a ph balanced soap. Starke Replenish is optional every month if you’d like more water beads and a little extra protection.
The no 4 replenish... Can that be used has a gloss Finnish sealent on paint.. Or wipe it on rub it off equals gloss paint work and sealed . If you get my drift ? 😉
Do you have a favorite topper to maintain polymer sealant? Also will ceramic coating hold up in areas where the fenders rub on a boat in the water full time?
Yes, my favorite topper for a polymer sealant currently is Starke Replenish. Ceramic coating will hold up much longer than anything else you can put on your boat because of the super strong bond. It will hold up for a while and last longer than any wax or sealant. It typically takes me 3-4 rounds of heavy compound to buff off a professional grade ceramic coating.
@@topdockpro can you tell me what you use to maintain it once you put it on. Like on a day-to-day basis when you take it out of the water to clean off the spots. And what compound do you use to remove everything before putting on the product?
@@topdockpro You really should try it after elevate and R to make it a 3 step compound process. You'll find a way better look. Ignition also has a sealant in it as it removes swirls. Then you can seal it again for a ridiculous look. We do it all day here in the Tampa Bay area.
Hi Tim. NEVER apply both. It’s one or the other. Ceramic coatings will not bond to hyper hold. Use level R, then preferably follow up with Elevate (the medium cut compound, not mentioned in the video) before deciding to use a sealant or ceramic coating.
@@MRVICCHOPPER cermaic coating is a lot of work and it’s important to be educated. That choice is up to you. Hyper Hold is easy to apply and will last 6 months and ceramic coating 12-24 months.
I polish a lot of RVs, 95% of them I use Restructure as a one step then jump to Hyperhold. I'm working on a nose cap on a 5th wheel today and will be doing Restructure then Hyperhold.
Also can you recommend a good non skid sealer? I will have to check out that starke pure clean soap. I've been using nauitcal 1 ceramic wash and wax to help boost the hyperho;ld because it contains sio2. does the pure clean have any si02?
I haven’t found any great nonskid sealers so I typically just ceramic coat nonskid. Starke Pure Clean soap does NOT contain SiO2. It’s a ph balanced soap. Starke Replenish however does contain SiO2 and can be used on top of hyper hold.
Great video Simon. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you! 💯
I do a lot of gelcoat rvs, I use Restructure as a one step. After Restructure I jump to Hyperhold, best combo on the market.
What do you like about Restructure?
@@topdockpro Cuts well and finishes out extremely well, most RVs I use Restructure with a lambs wool pad then straight the Hyperhold.
What about their newer products? Can u make a video for all starke products?
Oooo interesting idea! Haven’t tried them all they have so many!

@@gregc2621 No it does not. The surface should be completely clean
@topdockpro curious then, why use this over Hydro guard spray?

Thanks so much!!! I have a 2000 Ranger bass boat. What products and steps would you recommend for ceramic coating and maintaining it.

Hi how much product should I order for a 340 Sea Ray Sundancer? I’m looking to buy the Level R and Hyperhold
Thanks
I would get a gallon of Level R and a 16oz bottle of hyper hold pro
Dawn soap is a stripper, do not use on boats unless you are planning to correct gel coat with cutting compounds and polish.
Good advice!
Agreed, last time she was on my boat she made a right mess with her black sole heels.
Just wondering if you are in Salt water should you dry off your boat if you can't rinse it off first.
Never dry your boat without rinsing first! The salt can scratch the gelcoat / paint as you proceed to dry
What about the video 5 days ago comparing HH and Jescar??
Jescar is better :) in my opinion it blocks oxidation longer
The no 4 replenish...

It’s only a sealant and finishing product, not a rubbing compound!
On the RVs I'm getting up to 1 year out of Hyperhold.
Hyperhold is a quality sealant 🙌
If the boat is brand new can you go straight to iPa wipe and then ceramic coat?
Thanks for reaching out! It was nice chatting :)
You mention Ohio but website says Florida. How do I contact you for detail service? Assuming you are in the Port Clinton area
We moved to Florida since we started the RUclips channel.

How long would you wait between coats when doing 2 layers of kraken
At least 1 hour between coats. No longer than 24 hours
Have you ever used starke ignition right after using level r
Never used ignition ever. I don’t know much about it other than it’s a fine polish
But to answer your question, I don’t think that makes sense. Use elevate after level r instead

Can you use a soap with sio2
You could but honestly the chemicals on your hands and the value you get from it not worth it. PH balanced is all you need on a general wash
Hey Simon, If you start with Level R , then use with Hyper sealant. Do you still use your ceramic coatings afterwards? Regards Tim, Australia.
