Its never fails to amaze me how uninformed the people that live right there about how much damage the Iguanas do. You do an amazing job and look good doing it.
The silver lining is that Jessica is the last thing they see. Good job camera guy, nice to see the non target fauna. Always a treat to finish work and see your notification
As I was driving home from work today I was thinking…I could do with a fresh Jessica video, and there you are! I really like the Solitary Sandpiper too. He’s got the moves a lot like the Woodcocks we have up here.
👍👍👍👍👍👍 Hi Jess. Your eagle Eyes are unmatched. Great job today ( as always ) Have missed you. Hope the weather clears up and stays that way for you. Up here, we are getting our first bit of snow which is snow mixed with rain as the temp is right at the border. No real problems though. Some residents don't have anything else to do but NOSE out the window for people who are actually working and performing a great service to them. They are in every neighborhood and there is no escaping them ( another form of invasive species ). Once again , it is soo good to see you Jess. Please stay safe in all that you do........Michigan
Thanks Jessica, as a keen birder myself, I appreciated your Solitary Sandpiper. I don't believe I've seen one; maybe only one time. Anyway I like your interest in natural history as well as pest control. (Later...) loved the Green Heron!
And also, since I have subscribed since Jessicas first video I can say that she is making an impact, in fact a major impact as we are seeing smaller kills. Getting rid of the big dudes that are destroying the Eco system.
I’ve actually spoken to you a couple of years ago when you were headed up my way in Central Florida, (I live in Daytona) when you were bringing your kitty to Ormond Beach for a Cat show! You look as though you’ve been talking great care of yourself, kudos!😊
I also appreciate the clips of other nature and behavior knowledge that you included in this and some earlier videos. I encourage you to always look for opportunities like that to include for added interest.🥰
Hey Jess. Have you ea little bio on yourself, and some of the guys you work with? Like, we know you went to LSU. What was you major? What were/are your intrest? How did ya get into the Iguana Removal business? Have ya ever done anything else? Just a short video about you. For all of us Jessica fans. Thanks for always making fun videos. And Gotchu Iguanas!😊
Are there any shooting competitions that have offhand shooting? I think you do excellent in that discipline. Not that you're not a good shooter and other areas but I definitely don't see a lot of people doing off hand shooting nearly as often as you. Great job, love the vids. Thank you for sharing

The funny thing is that all of the guns you use are illegal in Australia. I don’t understand why people would not want to get rid of an invasive species. The same as the Burmese python.
Why don’t you like when they go in the water during a death roll? I can understand if they float back up under the docks but doesn’t it attract small bait fish or larger gar? Or is it a matter of preference?
Ninja dude, are you finding ticks this year?? I went to the Fun and Sun airshow, the Uber driver was a dipshit tree hugger and he rescued a massive male that was struck by a car. Well it died and within a few minutes the ticks exited the iguana and enjoyed the passengers!!!!
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'd read it was illegal in the states to have silencers on airguns, also illegal to shoot from a car, or is it state-specific? I do know for a fact you couldn't do this in England... It would be met with armed response lol Do you need a special permit to walk onto private properties to shoot these lizards I'm one curious fan!
Laws for airguns vs regular pew-pew firearms are generally different in the US. If you live in a free state, you may be able to purchase suppressors, regulators or silences for an airgun with little effort. For firearms, they are regulated with a huge tax and a license must be granted by the federal government. Regulations will carry from one state to another. Jessica operates a business and she restricts her activities to properties who pay her to eliminate, one way or another, the invasive iguanas.
@louisdaniels9225 Not illegal to silence an airgun. It is illegal to shoot from public roadways. I make it a point to pull into driveways, or often times their yard. Some roads you see me on are private
Yeah you were talking about the solitary sandpiper oh it's a booty shaker.... Yeah we like those a lot ....Thank you. I see that one iguana came down out of the tree .....he must have came down for dinner..... Speaking of dinner.... you can call me a pretty much anything you want except don't call me....... Late for dinner!!!!!! Hey I got a great idea I'll come down there for dinner. I will have an order of iguana with some Fry's french style.... And I'd like to have a porterhouse steak.... Or a rib steak or New York steak I'm not fussy ..... And if you want go ahead and make me a.... Full roast beef dinner with all the trimmings..... Yeah that's a good idea .....I think I'll have that..... why not ....and guess what........ you're buying.... You can be glad about that..... aren't you glad that you're buying Well......... I might be kidding.... But maybe I'm not.
I looked up Hoosier after this comment. Then I looked up the origin of Hoosier, which lead to 5 theories on the history of the term Hoosier....don't do what I did
Ummm you serious? The belted kingfisher, which is the one we get, doesn't run on the ground like that...and is smaller....and is blue not green...and has a white "belt" across his belly. Look up "little Green heron"
The reason why that one T-Rex was still flipping his tail was wagging is because he knew he was going to go to.... Iguana heaven.!!!!!!!!!! Or was that a velociraptor.... I don't know for sure but I do know that they run real fast and the only thing I can think of that they remind me of is.......a velocity-raptor...... I really don't care what anybody else calls them that's what I call them..... And I called him a T-Rex sometimes because they're walking bipedal.... All of a sudden when I was talking about a T-Rex I got to thinking about Jurassic Park.... Scared it makes me and so now I have to go call my. Therapist... And I know what they're going to have me repeat is ....."there is no Jurassic Park there is no Jurassic Park there is no Jurassic Park".... And I'll be good to go........ And they'll probably tell me take two aspirin you'll feel better in the morning.... Hahaha just kidding again have a nice day.
This is just a guess from me but I'm assuming from the way she goes after retrievals that it's most likely contracted by the number of iguanas. Like x amount of dollars for me to remove 25 iguanas 50 iguanas. So she gets paid by completing the contract. Which of course requires proof. Obviously the quicker she can clear out the contract number the more she would make as time spent versus money collected. She doesn't want to spend 50 hours collecting 25 iguanas. But then again she could go to a single home and charge $125 to trap or shoot an iguana that is in an attic or on the property.. I'm sure she adjusts according to the jobs needs. Either way I love the content and I am curious too.
This is correct. I provide quotas, guaranteed minimums, or charge per iguana depending on the job. I try to be fair and never take money if iguanas aren't actively being taken. Many wildlife removal companies charge just for coming, trying, or setting traps...but may catch nothing. They take your money and fixed nothing- I'm proud to keep myself out of that category
@iguanaSnipers I live just south of Kansas City, we got 8" of snow last night and the lows this weekend will be below zero. I know you live pretty far south but your bound to feel some change. I enjoy your channel and your skill.

There are so few natives vs invasives....it's frustrating

Yes Scott I may take a minute to show yall the counts from years ago and then today's count to show how they become less and much smaller
A scope cam would be a great addition to your videos and we could see what you’re seeing when you take the shot.
Love your videos! I really appreciate what you’re doing and no click bait! Please stay safe and keep getting those iguanas! ❤
