Out of all the countless patterns to this I've looked at, this one is BY FAR the simplest, easiest, fastest, and perfect sized one I've seen!! I am making my co-workers several of these (for Christmas) because they use their current ones everyday. They need a variety! Thank you for a great pattern!
Thank you, Peter. This is the best crocheted ear saver I have seen! Very clear instructions! Bless you, and stay safe!
You type in search RUclips and then you write this notikaland and choret
Love it! Love it! I made on right along with his video and wore it immediately afterwards. Excellent video Peter. I will seek out anyone who needs this. I wear glasses and it a bit cumbersome with the elastic behind the ears. I made a black to blend in with my hair.

Thank you,
As a man beginning to learn crochet, I am still needing help from my wife to "get" this, but you explain things in a way that makes more sense to me than most (if not all) other tutorials I have viewed.
Thanks! And keep the tutorials coming. 🙂

I have never tried crochet. I have not been happy with knitted ear saver results. After learning the SC and DC via RUclips yesterday, I tried your pattern today. This is SUCH a simple pattern, with lovely results. I will make them for front line workers in beautiful Mexico, where I live. THANK YOU! Subscribed.
Great. Front line workers need all support that they can get in this tough time. Thank you
So excited to find new crochet channel!!! And one that has so many doilies!!! I've been wanting to learn how to do them!!! So awesome! 😁👏🌻🌼🌹💕💝🎵📢

Very impressed in the way you are demonstrated!

Thank you
I keep both tails long; using a tapestry needle I used this yarn to attach each of the two buttons. Thanks for sharing both the finished measurement (6" x 1.5") and the complete instructions. Up to now I've been free-forming mine.
I just started doing that myself! Great minds think alike
Thank you! A co-worker made me 2 of these (she made 2 for everyone on our unit). She has since retired, good for her! It seems masks are here to stay, so we need some new straps. Bought me some yarn and a #4 hook. I have a bottle of buttons. Let's go!
Excellent video Peter! Very clearly explained. Many thanks 💌

Thank you for this tutorial. I'll definitely be making some for my family. Stay safe!
I have hearing aides and find wearing masks very difficult to fit around them making the aides fall off off causing danger of losing the very expensive aids. This pattern solves the problem.. a BIG thank you!
Hello sir ...it's very useful your video...my ears are very painful for mask using....i am searching a good mask holder....i gone a try...it's very helpful your videos thanks for Saudi Arabia 👍👍👍
Super easy i love it
Thank you! Great video!
Thank you. I'm sending mine to a lay who makes the make do she can put one in with each mask!
Lelaki pon boleh mengait..hebat..
Thank you!
It is true they are easy to make. I use a half double crochet based on the chain. I just work half double crochet on both sides of the chain with extra half double crochet on each end. Yours look very nice and sturdy which I think is important so they stay in place and don't stretch too much. For me obtaining the buttons is the hardest part, as well as sewing them on. Thanks for posting this, very helpful.
Thank you. I made another video using single crochet - so that they are smaller and don't stretch.
Thx!!! Wish I found out earlier.. but still very useful!!
Very well explained
Someone’s been making them for free. But someone asked for a longer one. So I’ll make some a little longer than hers. Ty!
Oops, i made too many! Thanks for this tutorial.
cool! very good idea!
Peter this also works great if you wear hearing aids and my husband does, and he lives this ear saver.
Thanks for sharing, didnt take long at all to make
Thanks alot 👍
I like this.. easy tutorial to follow 👍 thank you..

Thanks for the video, do you have a written pattern for this project. I need to see it and count especially when making the corner curves. Thanks.
Thank you, ill be making these tonight, my ears are KILLING me
Muy bien gracias 👋👋
Thank you 😷
Hahaha i just finished it in 20 minutes maybe the second one will be in 5 minutes 😅
This is great!! :-)
Thank you! 😍😍😍
Thank you. Now to find some buttons.
Thank you for this pattern I am making these for someone who wears hearing aids so the ear loop masks don't take the hearing aids out when removing the mask.
Your crochet & sewing skills are really amazing! Really neat & nice👍 My crochet skill is not as good as you. I feel ashamed of myself🤭
Muy bonito! sería posible subtitulos en español
Is there a written pattern.?
Wow
what size of yarn should i use? thanks!
Thank you , I am making some for the hospital, do you have the written instructions ? As I have to keep pausing the video
Thank
How much yarn (feet or inches) would you guess that you need to make one?
I use oxygen, I wonder if these would work for the oxygen hose (tubing), my ears get very sore from the tubing.
Hi Lisa, if the button is too small for your O2 tubing to wrap around, I would crochet a little “latch” to each side of the tubing. I hope this works for you! The oxygen tubing can really annoy behind the ears, for sure!
Wow, thanks for the idea. How long must it be for men, women and children?
You can adjust size with number of chains at the beginning of ear saver
