I tend to use the Assault class a lot because of the 3 extra mags it’s just a big plus for me. I like to use Mackay that grapple hook is so good for mobility and escaping and my go to loadout with him is Sfar-m and the m44 magnum with Armor plates and smokes very good for offensive and defensive play

It's kinda ironic that it seems like the recon specialists are the least viable with Sniper Rifles, at least for extremely long range and defensive Sniping. Casper is much better played as close range and Flank, Paik as close range Assault, Rao might be better for mid-long range combat but I'd still rather pick a Marksmen Rifle over a 12x Sniper Rifle anytime since you won't be able to use his ability on extreme ranges.
Facts
ive found casper to be AMAZING on rush, ESPECIALLY when defending. Plant yourself in a small or hidden space, get on that drone, and spot LITERALLY EVERYONE in seconds and destroy anything the enemies place down, especially spawn beacons, and EMP vehicles whenever you can
I did exactly that, and completely HALTED the enemy teams advance. Like we were losing EASILY, they just kept pushing on through point after point and once I started using the drone on everyone whilst staying hidden their advance completely stopped
Angel is all rounder for me, giving ammo and reviving fallen allies is super good and if someone needs a weapon change or a full resupply you can just use angel to call for an air drop.

I'm loving the new update! I'll be playing a lot now that my friends are back on the game!
My favorite so far is Casper with a shotgun on some of the maps that have more CQ combat. I get in close and put a spawn point somewhere close to the objective and go in blasting, or hang back and snipe/recon after setting it up.
Thanks for sharing that 👍 Yesterday I play with Rao as Recon with Tracer Dart 🙈🤣 really broken, no vehicle can Cross over me . Okay I also had a good Rocket Man's Team 😉 . It's just overpowered, the Rao Hack also works as tracer for Javelin and I didn't know until yesterday.

I am really enjoying Irish as a medic. I was an Angel main for a looong time but I switched over after 3.2. I play as a more aggressive support/medic Irish even though he's best defensively. I find that I can push into an objective, get a few kills, and then set up the APS and cover to help my team push up as well. Plus, now I'm able to revive any downed teammates, so Irish is really my favorite all-arounder in the game--very good defensively, pretty good offensively, he can revive, and carry an ammo crate.
Once I tier 1'd Angel a few weeks ago. I have been testing out some of the other specialists more in anticipation of this 3.2 update. I have really enjoyed using Irish as a support. Same way too. Frontline aggressive. Thinking I may run him with smoke now

Been having a blast playing as Falck. Like you said, having the healing pistol, also with ammo crate. Throw a grenade launcher on your gun and you can help with vehicles, while constantly getting ammo back.
I'll stick with Angle due to the ammo box needing to recharge when playing as Falck unlike there is a faster restock with angle's gadget but it's my opinion of course.

@@paytaytochip10 probably armor or some smoke grenade launcher or some c5 because like why not i love sneeking behind tanks and throwing some explosives and making them look at me as i pull the trigger but if it is breakthrough or tdm then medpack for healing a group I just like Angle a little bit more but that was before the patched and yes I played a little bit of it but it still throws me off with the class gadget slot. And yes I'm still piss they had literally gaven the engineer the c5 explosives but not the support like seriously it makes to take away something that someone who had played bf3 and bf4 that is more of a insult than them putting specialists into the damn game.

I used to play McKay with spawn beacon and play aggressive on objective. Since i can't do that anymore I use paik when I want to play that way
Casper is definitely underrated i use that drone as eyes in the sky and just pop and drop! most people just sit in a bush scanning for the entire drones life span witch is just boring… the emp makes vehicles in your location f off which is super nice for trying to cap or if you just wanna emp and attempt c5 goodluck, like i said it makes them f off…

I’ve only had good games with Falk. Overall she is the best class rn. I tried rao and the hacking works it’s just my teams most of the time ignore all vehicles. Ads nerf is god awful I have no idea why that change happened. I expected more players to go for rao or the tracer dart jav combo but it seems like most are not

I really like Angel because... Infinite ammo. Since the change(s) I've almost always ran with health crate. The supply crate was changed so it's easy faster to load up explosives of you're an engineer, just single E tap. Ammo crate of support only gives one every 30 seconds or something?
I like his crate if I'm loading up on explosives. For example if I am carrying an assault rifle with all the launchers.
Once the meta sets in and for season 4 there will be adjustments but loving the update so far. Maybe paik can get a second proficiency. Like for assault rifles all while maintaining her recon class. She would be an aggressive recon. Recon dosent mean sniper!

For the 40k I have an idea, you have to play the credits of Battlefield on the violin... naked.
For me angle is better than falk if you are in a firefight would you rather have ammo or a med crate yes you can get hit but you can regain health if you have an ammo pack you can constantly have ammo and mind you have to wait for the ammo to come back so that's why I choose Angle all day because there is really no cool down when you have to give yourself ammo than playing as falk and plus Angle is better due to when you revive people they also get more ammo if they're empty. But if it was the same mechanic from bf5 then it will be a different story.

I think angel is one of the top 5 specialist because of his adaptability on the fly...who else could change weapons ,self heal, revive resupply themself all without having to go back to the spawn screen?

@@dylanduff9645 Ammo bags are useless in this game because most weapons can carry multiple ammo types and you can switch through them while deployed. Imo the ammo pool should be shared throughout all ammo types, so when you emptied your subsonics your extended mags are also empty.

@@DevlVergil Not really unless you have run out or you have your favorite ammo type. Like for myself unless i have my own build those ammo packs come in handy or I run out of all three ammo and yes stuff like that happens all the time when I play as someone else that
1. doesn't have an ammo bag
2. doesn't have teammates around
3. There are no ammo stations on the damn game and no I've always used the weapon that I started it with when I spawn.
And med crates are more useless than ammo bags due to we can regenerate when not in comeback anyone will tell you it is never enough to bring ammo but if it was Bf5 mechanics then it will be a small different story.

All im going to say is the SFAR-M GL is incredibly devastating to use on enemies. I own lobbies with it. The 40mm HE and incendiary grenades are awesome lmao
What do you mean the vault ARs benefit more from weapon proficiency? The weapon proficiency is 3 extra mags. That's it. That applies too all ARs equally.
Not happy with the update. I was primarily a spotter using Macay’s grappler to get height and soflam to spot. Now as a sniper it’s impossible to get the height needed to spot with the soflam 🤬
whats you take on comparing say the bf4 class system of just having one player per class, compared to now having multiple specialists per class?, good or bad for the more immersive gameplay?
Definitely makes class recognition harder, and that's only made worse by how many skins are in the game.
In previous BF games, each of the classes had a pretty identifiable silhouette. This is no longer the case.
For 40k subs maybe do a mega compilation of the cursed moments from all the BF games you’ve streamed, 1, V, 2042 and maybe 4 if there are any.
I just got the game and don't plan on spending any money what should I run?
i'd disagree with your recon picks, they are amazing at point pushing between tugs/prox grenade and forward spawns. I consider it my cat herding class, since randos are pretty self involved/want easy kills you just put your forward spawns up in good flank spots and herd your random team into playing the objective. I wish they had proficiency with DMR's or tac weapons instead of Snipers. Bvsm for a good all range option, and if your stuck in cqb awhile it can swap down to a pretty good smg too.

What do you think about Levelcap’s take regarding class-based restrictions on the weapon pool?
In his latest video he said that 3.2 is a big step in the right direction, but restricting weapon picks should be the next step in returning 2042 to classic battlefield.
The only reason they haven’t done that is because of the lack of guns, I wouldn’t be surprised if they did it later on

If the weapon pool was bigger and there were more than one or two viable choices per category then I would absolutely love that, but right now there are simply nowhere near enough weapons in the game to do that.
You seem uninformed, guys. Dice stated that the reason why they didn't restrict the weapon pool is that they want people to play a class for the role and not for the gun. Have to say that I like the idea behind that but time will tell if it works.
I'm gonna have to disagree hard with Dozer not being viable. I initially agreed with Enders because I just started playing the game and haven't used Dozer until today after seeing a guide on him. I assumed the shield worked just like it did in BF4 BUT NO IT DOES NOT. You can run and slide with the shield, and as long as you have a high sensitivity, you can stop people who are trying to shoot your sides. I just 1v3 people who saw me coming and they couldn't do nothing about it. It's kind of busted. It seems as though if you can't play with moderate to high sensitivity then Dozer won't work but he definitely works otherwise.

Angel is S tier with teamwork and d tier without. Angel with 3 boris on a covered hilltop is SSS tier for ground vehicle prevention. Drop resupply crate and instant full reload on javelin fir borris, plus 3 turrets to warn if infantry flanks. Try it with team then come back to comments :)
Swap one borris for Rao with tracer for Anti air
Its odd how boris got nerfed and is still probably the character i see the most
I feel support and engineer should've swapped proficiency. LMGs are supposed to be a support's weapon and the SMG was traditionally an engineers weapon.

in BF5 the health providers had SMGs and the Ammo providers LMGs. In 2042 those two are one class so they had to make a choice somehow and thought they would pick the proficiency by the general play style of the specialists. The engineers in this game have relatively stationary abilities (Crawford and Boris Turret), so they get the heavy, slow weapon. The medics are relatively balanced overall I think. Falck definitely seems more fit for mobile and lighter play style, therefore SMGs. Angel can adapt for almost every weapon type I'd say. Irish seems more fit for defensive Play style (LMG).

As someone who prefers Engineer. I loathed having to run SMG on these huge maps as I try to take out vehicles. Always feels like you are outgunned

Her scanner received quite a few nerfs. Plus now that Dice has brought back manual spotting for all characters, her passive trait that would spot someone after shooting them is kind of pointless.
Wrong on Rao my guy. He essentially has been nerfed in my opinion (this is coming from someone who's near 800 proficiency with Rao). Hacking ability takes nearly 1 sec longer since the patch. I was excited before the patch because I was hearing that hack would also add lockon. It doesn't. There's no change to the way it works (unless I'm experiencing a bug). I don't run snipers at all. Like to use Rao close to the action for vehicle hacks with assualt rifle or shotgun so I'm obviously disappointed all the way around

People want launchers. Can't use them with Lis, and honestly between crawford and Boris... Boris is more hands off. Place his turret and let it do it's thing. Crawford turret is a death trap.
Why an AR for Support?

@@EndersFPS it’s mainly in those max reach spots that you can get to like the big building on kaleidoscope from the ground or like I said in the stranded map. Spots like that that no one expects you to come from.
Am i the only one that tried the update and unistall soon after? Yes, the game is in a better state than the launch period but it doesn't mean much because at launch bf2042 was (and still is) the worst battlefield ever made. I don't want to be negative but when i play I still face the same issues: poor weapon and vehicle balance, extremely fast ttk and ttd, inconsistent netcode, no server browser, lack of content, orrible map design.

Good for you if you can enjoy bf2042, i'm not sarcastic, but don't defend this game like your life depends on it. Me, you and the bf community deserv better. By saying "the game is better now" you settle yourself for mediocrity and EA and DICE will take advantage of that by releasing mediocre games. At one point DICE was one of the most respectable software house in the world and it reached that position by releasing extremely good games not mediocre games

I can never get used to the UI, especially the color scheme. It feels so god damn off to me. It's like going in to a super advanced visual impairment accessibility menu and cranking everything up to ULTRA.

I feel like Paik and Makay should've been swapped in the assault/recon classes. Paik's sensor is only viable in close range and Makay's mobility would make him a great recon with him being able to place spawn beacons in interesting places and the ability to get to vantage points with the sniper....I would also remove Makay's nimble trait ( or give this mobility boost to everyone) as I feel like no one should be able to outstrafe everyone else where the top players are only going to choose him for this ability and instead replace it with reduced fall damage which would synergize well with his grapple gun.
The g57 needs to be nerfed tired of it out shooting smgs from close range

@@Albus_Rex A ballistic shield that deflects enemies bullets, tanks most explosions, provides mobile cover, attracks attention so your teammates can kill; allows you to safely peek from cover without the fear of getting sniped, increased explosion resistance, with high sensitivity you can dominate in cqb especially in narrow corridors.
I honestly don’t see anything good from the assult class tbh they are run and gun class nothing special since all the other classes can use assult rifles lol but to each their own
