I tried a Cricut for a year and never got the hang of it for stickers. Finally got a Silhouette and can't wait to try it with stickers! Super helpful thanks!
you are amazing! i've been scouring the internet for days on how to make stickers like this, and so many etsy shop owners won't tell you how to make them (for business reasons, obviously). no other videos or articles i've seen have taught me how to do this like you do. nobody is thorough or clear enough for me. thank you so so much for this video (and the others that i have not watched yet)!
I have the Cameo and I’m glad I spent the money. There is so much you can do with vinyl and heat transfers, and sometimes you need the 12x12 space. If you love crafts and can afford it, get it.
hello dear.i took 3hours repeating ur videos.glad that i found u here.im so beginner with my silhoutte.my main reason is because of my love to stickers.tq so much for releasing this trick and secrets.must be challenging n frustrating a lot if at the first place i didnt found u.tqsm sis.luv ya
Thank you so much for these videos. I started my Etsy business in September and had it not been for your videos I would have been lost. You are awesome.
you are a goddess. Thank you! Mahalo Nui Loa!!!!!! OMG! okay, seriously I have watched countless videos, and im not slow. It's just... this is the clearest simplest video and it is awesome!!! thank you!!!!!! Yes, even 4 years later this still helped me. Thank you!!!!
So glad you posted this! I've had my Portrait for weeks now, been afraid to play with it because I wasn't sure how to start. I tried watching other videos, but got lost. I think your video is perfect. Off I go to try to make my first sticker sheet myself.
+InspiredBlush is there another way to add a pattern? I'm trying out the free version to see if this is something I can do... It doesn't say "my patterns" like yours... It only says "patterns" and won't let me drag and drop at all :(
+Hailey Nicole I looked last night and they want 49.99 (unless I'm doing something wrong---very much could be the case) thank you for responding though :)
this video is just awesomeness! bought a silhouette for my wife and myself and have been trying to learn how to make stickers for her planners and it's been frustrating. just wanna day THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!
this is going to be sooo useful! I've been saying I want to make my own stickers and this has motivated me to get a silhouette asap! thank you, looking forward to seeing more.
i am just getting into planner decorating, and i was looking on etsy for stickers... I will probably still be lazy and buy some but this was really helpful.. I can't wait for more!
love this... I have a silhouette and use it way to little. print and cut is driving me crazy but I willen try it again with your step bij step. love to make stickers for my project life.
Thank you soooo much! This was very helpful. My Portrait had sat for over a year, due to the fact I have no idea how to make sense of the instructions. You have given me hope :)
Thank you for this amazingly detailed video!!! And extra thanks for the explaining the difference between the Cameo and the Portrait. Super helpful cause now i know which one I want to buy!!!
Your video was very helpful. Thank you for taking the time and doing it. Everyone else doesn't explain it as well as you. One problem I had was trying to get the bleeding for the full box. No matter what my pattern would only stay in the box and would not go out.
OMG! This was so helpful to me and you did an awesome job of explaining how to make stickers. I really got a better understanding of some of the icons. TY!!
What a great video, and thanks for sharing your process. I've had a Silhouette for years, but never tried the print/cut, and then making stickers. I've been at it for about 6 weeks, and have come a long way, but it definitely takes time, patience, and a lot of trial and error, lol. I definitely learned something new with your video--I had no idea you could run the sticker paper directly in without using a mat! Even though I've been setting up my files to cut the actual sticker sheets that would hold say full boxes/half boxes, etc., instead of hand cutting them, this might be worth giving a try. I look forward to more videos.
Great video, because I have asked so many people how to make stickers and they need stay how.. Thanks so much for doing this video, I buying a machine soon. Will watch again.
Thank you!!!!! I bought the damn silouette specifically for planner stickers...a YEAR AGO...how many stickers have I made? Zero. I was so frustrated with it I just put in the closet. I will be doing the "with cocktail" methos of learning and subbed to you so you can teach me :) Cheers.
Thank you for this video! i showed my parents this video, and now they'll buy the silhouette cameo 2 for me! thank you so much for the tutorial, i already installed the software and made some stickers. i am so thankful! By the way: You are so inspiring to me :D xx
Hey there! I did try to glance and see if someone mentioned this already, but you should be able to use Movie Maker that comes free with windows and allows you to screen capture for videos. You can also but Camtasia if you want to make that investment!
Yay! your back so happy to see your beautiful face. I purchased a silhouette cameo, this tutorial is right on time. Thanks for sharing! Big Hugs! Vickie
Emmmmmmmma!!!😀 I loved this, thank you so much for this video! I'm still a complete noob at making stickers, so this is very helpful! I look forward to your next one! ☺️
InspiredBlush alrighty. I had wondered if I could use the Crichton mats because they are definitely cheaper and my local Walmart keeps them in stock. I'll be picking them up tomorrow now that I know that! Thanks so much! I'm still learning so your videos are definitely helping me out lol!
Whyyyyy are you so freakin CUTE?!? Thank you for this video - I'm glad to see it from a PC perspective and I'm ready to get my Portrait and get started!
Hi Emma! I absolutely love love love your videos! They have answered TONS of my questions! Thank you so very much for taking the time to show us all how to do the stickers and such in your series of videos! One other thing I would love to see a video on (or even an email!) is how do you organize all of your graphics? and is there a way to import a bunch of graphics at once? I haven't found anything on that yet. :) Thank you again!
Hi Emma, I have watched every video of yours they are fantastic. I am having trouble though finding designs to go into my full boxes, could you do a video or answer what do you google when looking for beautiful graphic designs. I see you use flat icons for icons but what or where do you go for background designs.
Thank you for such a great video. you are so encouraging. *sidenote I use fontspace for my fonts. they have a ton of commercial fonts! thanks for the vid
Your videos are so informative. I have one question though and hope youll be able to help me! My offsets arent flush with the main image in the first box even when I have the scales set the same, do you know how I can fix this? I ask because I need an offset since my cameos cuts are off and I dont know how to fix it
check out the free software OBS, it allows you to record what you are doing on the PC. It is designed as a livestreaming software but can be configured to record what you are doing for videos. My son uses it to make his gaming videos.
This was awesome!! Thank you so much! What file type do the pictures have to be in to get them into the my patterns window? Mine will only go into the My Library and they are jpgs!
Loved this video - thankyou! Just want to know no matter what I do I keep getting two cut lines when Ive done the offset. Any ideas what I am doing wrong?
Nice video :D There's also free software for Windows if you want to capture your desktop, OBS is what I personally use (also doesn't have a watermark) :)
Thanks! It's easier to use "Internal offset" , it automatically makes a red line inside your design and you simply have to delete the other cut line :)
By the way, i can't drag the photo to pattern folder..It comes up with a red icon..as in, cannot drop anything there :/ Apparently i need a different software, then Silhouette Studio?
Thank you so much for this video! Will you please upload a video on downloading icons from flaticon? I am having issues with downloading the icons to .svg and importing them onto S.studio. Thank you so much!
+InspiredBlush yes, I did. What's weird is that the icons saved under .svg was only able to open via web browser. Well, I can't wait for another if your video. Will you also address how you convert and extract the zipped folders? Thank you so much!
Trying to find the blossom font you used. So far dafont doesn't have it, nor does font squirrel... Thank you for the videos, love learning new things to make with the cameo. Not a planner person, but have friends who are and these would make great gifts. Just need to figure out which one they are using to get the sizes correct when I make them.
Hi, I learned a lot from you today, can I ask what kind of sticker paper you are using, I tried using Silhouette Brand clear sticker paper and the ink smeared and rubbed off in places, I have a brother multi function printer that used toner cartridges, (maybe that's the issue) thank for you videos and any info you can give me.
Yes, I am in the group! Since I am apparently still 16, I might go to Warped Tour in Portland that day as a fun throwback... Or else I would totally go! Maybe next time!
I tried a Cricut for a year and never got the hang of it for stickers. Finally got a Silhouette and can't wait to try it with stickers! Super helpful thanks!

Emma you rock. I have a shop, but learned so much from this video. Thank you! I'm so glad you're back. You're my favorite planner person 😊
You have not only inspired me to buy a silhouette.... But you are freaking amazing for putting all of those sites on there!!!! Much love to you!
+InspiredBlush is there another way to add a pattern? I'm trying out the free version to see if this is something I can do... It doesn't say "my patterns" like yours... It only says "patterns" and won't let me drag and drop at all :(

Thanks for this video!! Definitely teaches this old lady a few things 😉 lol
when you make full boxes, do you make them exactly 1.5" by 1.875"? Or do you add extra to make room for the cuts?
This is very helpful! Thank you so so much!
This is awesome! Where did you get your clip art and patterns from?!
