Aimee, I remember seeing these vids a few years back and was totally mesmerized by you! I'm re watching these, and hoping that you'll update and make more of these. Just love this "whatever", organic look. Like meditation as well as eco friendly, and help use up all our over flow of tiny bits n bobs! AND have I got the over flow!! Thank you so very much!
This is such a neat idea! I notice you seem to be using pieces of fabric. In the past when I’ve tried to use fabric, I found it somewhat difficult to glue it to anything. Perhaps I need to use more matte medium. I also wonder, since I saw you were tearing these, in another video, how you manage to hear the collections with fabric in them.
I love your work and your videos. I’m wondering if you could bring the camera a little closer to the work itself - to see it in more detail. In any event- thanks so much for sharing your creative process - I’m learning a lot.
love it all aimee. how i i wish i could go with the flow like you do. the thing that keeps me from doing is, not fear of making mistakes or ruining the piece... but fear of wasting good stuff. like the post card you tore at 6.48, and then decided not to use? well say, if i had that card, i would have framed it, leave apart just tearing it apart! i wonder how will i get over this? i love collage and i need to move freely and use mixed media like you do... but how? perhaps by using photocopy of materials initially? and save the originals? but cant move if i can not get over this, i guess..
So cool. Just found you on Instagram today and now following you here on You Tube and on IG. You’re so creative and inspiring. Thanks for doing process videos! As a beginner, I love them and learn so much.
Yes! I absolutely will do a video on that. I have a small trip coming up next week but I will try to put something together soon!! They are super fun to make. Thank you for being creative with me!!! 🙏🏻

Oh I have an idea for you! Make photo copies of your pieces, then you can just play and not worry about the mistakes.
Aimee, you've just won over a new devotee!

These are so cool, Aimee! Any chance you would do a video on how to make the papers that you are tearing up and using? They look so intriguing!🙏
