So it's all Adobe Express for my RUclips thumbnails, LinkedIn Posts, Twitter and IG Posts, including IG Reel Thumbnails and other graphic design needs, are all done on Adobe Express now. I just think that Canva is made with much more love to detail. It's more responsive and faster and feels much more mature to me than Express. To name a few problems Canva doesn't have: Weird text editing experience, which is only possible through a text area field next to the artboard. Bad performance when zooming, panning and transforming, where Express is lagging horribly. Inconsistencies with font weights between preview and video rendering output. Lack of flexibility when selecting animations etc. I really hope that Adobe will make improvements to these details soon.

Loved this video on the things you touched on. Like the adobe stock and fonts. I switched also because Canva is slow on my phone and takes long to long but the adobe express app works smooth and easier to use. Also for free can remove background and alter image sizes of the same graphic all in the free version

Show stopper for Canva: It's an insane assumption that if I scale something to the size of the artboard, it will be the background and previous background layer disappears. Kinda crazy for Express: No snap to edges when scaling!?! Why o why?

As someone who uses adobe apps(Ps, Ai, In) almost exclusively I won't rely on Adobe fonts if you need to use them forever. I don't know how many times I've used a font from adobe and a year later they don't have the license anymore. So beware with Adobe fonts.

I am using neither as I'm currently using Adobe CC but I'm trying to learn more about Canva and why is it so required for Artists nowadays. So yes, I might try this Adobe Express because I've already made an account when I was reducing the size of my video and AE popped up in my options.

  • @Conteudoemescala

This comparison is more about Adobe express pro vs Canva Pro, sure i understand you are Adobe Embassador so you need to focus on the pros of the product you represent. Being a paying customer for both solutions honestly the price difference of adobe does not make move to it.
Honestly i dont like the graphic interface, on top of that canva pro offers more premium images then adobe express stock photos, so i believe what the express offers in quantity of Adobe stock is very limited. To my niche (food photography) Canva offers much more diversity for the same keyword.
What is a game changer for AE is the AI image generator, the output is much better then in canva, but to me the pros resumes to it.
About the fonts, well who has a brand normally uses a custom fonts that is not licensed in this tools, but its quite easy to use it, just upload the font and thats it. I am a true believer that quantity is much different then quality, so Adobe can provide thousands of fonts but probably the majority of the people will use quite a few and will take tons of time find the right ones.
In Canva their team has already filtered them and offers what people wants, so less 1 tier of time to find what you need.
The zooming of images dont feels quite as good as with canva, but i understand and i believe its quite amazing to have more kids on the block, so the audience can choose from.

Express shows guides when you hover over "popular spots" in your workspace, such as the middle. It shows you guides when it thinks you would need them (hope that makes sense).
