Fun fact😊: If you use hair oil after moose it breaks the hard shell without having it frizz up or get ruined (Edit: 6 days ago and 2.2k likes?! I thought a lot of people already knew this👁️👄👁️)
I am in my early 60s and back in the 80s all we had was either gel or mousse as a styling aid so I'm amazed that this was seen as a new thing??? How times have changed with all the hairstyling aids around ???You have beautiful hair lovely and yes better late than never !!😂😅🤣🥰😍😍😘
Back in the 80s getting ready for work after a big night out, I put Nair mousse on my hair! My scalp started stinging after a minute or so...cue massive panic when I saw it was hair removal mousse not styling hair mousse! I jumped into the shower fully clothed and make up done and prayed my long hair didnt fall out. Thankfully it didn't...I've mever forgotten this experience! 😂
Girl you are too much fun, I love your hair, but your facial expressions are priceless. You are beautiful, I am praying you make more videos. Life has been difficult, thank you for lifting my spirits and making me laugh. You are so genuine, don't change. ❤❤❤
i think you have to do it on wet/damp hair, as she has abit damp hair, you just used dry/normal hair, after you showerd, which is probally the case😊! Edit - also your ment to get some moose, and use in ur hands, rub in ur hands first and then scrunch from your ends to ur just near your roots!
FYI; Take it from a northern Canadian 🇨🇦 gal. Mousse doesn't come from a moose. 🫎 Never approach a moose hoping you can actually scrape some from the antlers. You will come away with a big owie!! 😉 > Sarcasm!
What do you mean? They been using mousse from the 80s or before. It was a massive hit in the 90s. I'm surprised its not used as often. It was alwahs used fir blow drying hair/to create volume.
Use on wet/damp hair, approx an egg size dollop, then break it down in your hands first to warm it up, it will spread farther so you wont need as much.😊😊😊
You can use a lot of mousse for maximum strength, and then when you sell your hair take a light hair oil and scrunch your hair or just like rake it through if you're doing a blowout or like a wavy hair look. And that will break the cast. Hope this helps😊
Old 80s kid hairdresser here... We had to with those shampoo sets! 😂 And I've always have.. After shower flip head over moose in hands and work from bottom up.. Add to front and back hairline put in satin bonet sleep wake BAMMMM! 🤩 ❤️
I have very fine hair. Mousse is my number one go to (thanks to my mum for showing me this back in the 2000s). It makes my hair so thick and fluffy. My hair is extremely straight and the mousse allows me to curl my hair and have it last for days.
Ok, I really like your videos and all but why would you need to buy a new Dyson if yours is still perfectly fine and working!? What is a valid point to buy a new one if the old one is not broken!?
Less is DEFINITELY more with this. I’ve only been doing this recently cause it’s also a heat protectant. Well volumizing mousse is at least. O n always use ur mousse in wet hair before ur leave in conditioners or oils. 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
When using moose your hair needs to be wet (after washing your hair) Maybe that’s why it did it work and turned into cement. Also some moose makes your hair curly so be careful of how much you use❤
Ok, put on the mousse from root to end through, and then use the blow dryer and comb to fluff your hair the mousse will stiffen up and then add volume to your hair. I do this to mine and it works wonderfully.
Maybe you misunderstood because mousse need to be used for little bit curly hair if you have a volume in your hair just naturally, and after u use the mousee it will be more effective, and it will be shown
What has worked best for me... I don't like how with alot of other ways I try the next day or even just later that night my hair is flat to my head and looks like i have not washed it 😢 so I found this is what has worked best for me and stayed looking good for the longest time frame depending on how humid it is.. First i leave my hair pretty damp. I just wrap a towel around it when out of shower then brush it with my head upside down and then spray a little bit of hair spray and brush it through really well then halfway blowdry it still upside down. Then flip over put just a little bit of dry shampoo on roots and flip back upside down and finish drying it fully the put in the heatless curl wrap and go to bed then in the morning just pull it out and run my fingers through it and it's so full of volume and shiny❤. Everyone at work always asks me if I take hours to do my hair for work lol but always get so many compliments once started to do my hair this way and it can last up to 4 days depending on the weather 😊👍

Yeah, I had no idea people were applying mousse the way the girl did like wtf 😭
Yesss 10+ years of blowouts girl mouse is IT
Also use mousse in WET hair - spreading it equally . and you need a smoothing cream throughout your ends

Exactly! I'm 45 and we only had gel, mousse and hairspray. I thought "wow have we come a full circle?" :D
Helpful hint....apply to wet hair, and less is more! Focus on the roots for sure, but it helps set curls nicely as well.

Wow . This is such a early 90's / early 2000 thing . I was doing hairdressing 30 years ago . We used to use it to scrunch the hair for waves .
Def. a 1990's/2000's thing. In Junior and High school every morning on damp hair with moose, a curling brush and a blow dryer...a must!!
Some of us still do! 😂
It's an 80s thing.
Yeah haha, I was thinking like everyone knows this right? No, I'm just getting old 😅

Mosse is typically suposed to be used on wet hair before the blowdry
''This is getting old i should get a new one'' why did that sound so rich 😂😂,love you mimier❤
I think that in general you should always use mousse before blow drying your hair. After blow drying, use hairspray.

You gotta use natural hold mousse.
Paul Mitchell has a coconut scented mousse... so good lol
I use it on heatless curls too! Or even after using a wand! Holds it a little better but doesn’t have the crunch like hairspray
The way my heart dropped when she put her hand up to her mouth, I literally thought she was gonna eat it😭
When do you normally use mousse?
