That first rock you picked up in the post hunt wheel barrow reveal looks like a nice moss or plume agate. Few others look the same. Otherwise all Jasper’s or jasp-agates. Great score!
@icelawn yes thanks, I just call them taters because calling them anything else just ends up in arguments. The ones i cut and polish have lots of pluming and agate banding.
My guess is that it was a field at one time by the size of the trees. Just a guess ? And there is the magical rock pile :) The rocks there are amazing ! Once you got them wet in the wheel barrel they looked even better 👍
@AmericanPatriot1776AP maybe I'm no geologist just an observation of what I see. I've cut hundreds now many translucent showing pluming and the same banding as an superior agate???
Just found your channel and greatly intrigued! Can't wait to see more!
Thanks much appreciated
Nice Finds. Looks similar to what I find here in SE Wisconsin
@calebdillman8462 yes these are from portage county.
Wow. I wish I had piles to go to and find awesome rocks like that. Lucky dog.
Thanks Jeff
Đẹp quá 👍👍👍🥰🥰

As young as that "woods" is there was no woods there when they dumped the pile.
@jimstark1810 yes i concur
It's a nice area. It's interesting that the stones are only in one place. When they're sliced, I think we'll see plume patterns. It's beautiful.
@@SRLGemstone yes thanks, lots of pluming and agate banding.
Hopefully this pile of rock hunting is still in its original place 👍❤️
@leuserstoneschannel yes thank you my friend

@upnorthadventureswithccc very possible there is a lot of farms in the area that still are in use.
Most of the rocks look like chert, maryellen Jasper and quartz.

None of that rock looks anything like rocks from Wisconsin. Oregon but not Wisconsin
