One really early game strat that I didn't see recommended is to mine stone for 72 hours at the start of your playthrough. This will stop you from running out of stone for a little bit.

And it's better than the old mod that did this. The old mod worked for 2x2 recipes only when you had your 2x2 crafting grid open, so it wouldn't work when you 3x3 crafting grid open. The version in Stoneopolis is a bit smarter, and will work if you have any crafting grid open. The one downside, though, is that recipes have to be manually added. Some are weirdly missing, for example, the recipe to make sandstone from sand.
@@uigrad it would be interesting for an open world modpack to give you pieces of information on a recipe that you need, and you have to create the recipe and then use it to create what you want, is this too complex for minecraft? i don't know, likely, but am i just speaking about a little thought i found cool? surely
This modpack give me strong vibe of this is exactly what i want: skyblock type pack, tech pack, and something like knowledge tree system. Great Videos and thank for the new modpack to play :D

This will be grindy af. But if you invest early in resourge generators and the blue upgrade for strainers you will be good. You can make a high tier blue upgrade as soon as you get to blaze rods.
When you mentioned that this is part of the "opolis" series of packs, I got curious so I checked out his other packs. I am literally entering the endgame of Techopolis 2, and just didn't realize that I was already playing one of his packs for the past 2 weeks. LMAO
Chosen, got an issue, I right clicked on the mulch with the eroding salt and it didn’t change the mulch into eroding water… my set up is correct and I’ve debunked every possible defect and it’s still not working… what do I do? Cheers 🙏
hi i am sorta new to mods, i wanted to know if this modpack needs a lot of system resources i was able to run a ftb modpack smoothly (if that is good comparison?), also really love your vids it helped me a ton get started with modded mc also is there a way to tell how much specs any modpack needs?

My only real gripe with the 'opolis' modpacks (and it is one that I have with many other quest-based modpacks too) is the sheer level of manual GRIND required at various stages, presumably to (artifically) increase playtime/difficulty. Playing with others could help with that, I guess, but alone it can be extremely painfuly tedious at times.
I'm actually playing through this pack a second time ATM, and amazed how little grind there is, if you set things up for automation. To begin, I'm shocked that he didn't set up hoppers leading in and out of the strainers. For every strainer I set up, I have two hoppers leading in from the sides (one for the meshes, and one for the item to strain). I did need to shear about 20 black trees and 20 orange trees before finally getting a cloche up and running, but neither really took very long. When you set up your cloches, send the output to a line of conveyor belts (IE) and feed them into a drawer access point, and the drawer for logs can be set directly over a hopper that feeds into a furnace. Orange leaves feed to a strainer to make copper nuggets. With Sophisticated Storage (the drawer mod), you essentially have wireless transportation for the price of a few void ingots! Use a Blood Magic input node on your drawer controller, and now you can wirelessly pipe charcoal anywhere. For void copper nuggets put them into a compacting drawer, and use blood magic to pull out ingots. Send those to another stainer system that goes directly to a furnace, and now you have automated copper! There are other strange things that are grindy in this pack. For example, using buckets of water to make resource generators is one. Resource generators become a crafting component, and the IE assembler that is supposed to be used for automating things with buckets just does not work for this recipe. The IE assembler does work for making treated wood, though, so don't put off making one. The automated workbench is also quite nice for fully automating iron. The other thing that I had trouble automating was liquid meat. Yes, it can be done entirely through IF machines, but to make it fast enough, I had to set up a huge pig farm, which in turn was laggy. I have a feeling this will be a problem for Chosen's community server.
To anyone playing this pack there is a thing between drawers and andesite alloy (create) if you put the alloy in the top slot until iron appears in the bottom if you put in nuggets its a one to one ratio instead of two to one

TBH sometimes in the video I felt that the colors was gone, and was only black and white footage. Theres so much gray stuff, workbench gray, tree gray. XD

FYI you can press K to turn pebbles into stone.
And it's better than the old mod that did this.
The old mod worked for 2x2 recipes only when you had your 2x2 crafting grid open, so it wouldn't work when you 3x3 crafting grid open.
The version in Stoneopolis is a bit smarter, and will work if you have any crafting grid open.

You can slice your fish into chunks which will make your food more spread out
Just early on it doesnt seem like the best option after testing as you really need the saturation for blood magic

Watch out for the lag caused by pig farms. You'll need quite a few in this pack for liquid meat, so I have concerns about your community server!
