This is a beautiful cabinet! Love the details like putting in the banana that you can place on the joystick. I enjoyed hearing the background story of this cab. It’s a really fun and accurate build. These guys know how to hit the nostalgia button and take you back to the original arcade days. 15:29
I love that so many of these original (gangsta) programmers and game creators are still with us and willing to lend a hand when an autograph is requested! Way cool! :)
It's so cool learning about what went into making the arcade game, especially the behind-the-scenes information from the creator himself. It's pretty amazing that Jonathan is embracing the modern aspects of the Replicade by preferring to connect it to an 80-inch OLED and replacing the CRT on the arcade cab with an LCD, but definitely a down to earth type of dude. Thanks for videoing this NWT!!!
Thank you all for the dedication to making these so authentic and enjoyable. I’m a newer customer but I love my 1942 cab and now my pre-order Food Fight! But I would love an autographed one so……
I love that you brought the creator in to autograph these! I don’t know what it is, but the 1:6 scale looks so cute and all the tiny little details are such a great nostalgic tribute the bygone glory of arcades and pizza parlors and convenience stores. So much of my childhood and Teenage years represented. Awesome sauce.
100% agree. I would love to have a full fledge arcades...but I simply don't have the room & I would lose it all in a divorce because no judge would side with me. LOL Seriously, I love these incredibly accurate replicades. It just makes me smile when seeing them.
@@wiredawg2005 I have enough 3:4 scale cabs to create a retro arcade mood, but space, time, and $$$ are not infinite, so 1:6 scale Replicade is all win.
That was a great interview. I’m sure Johnathan Hurd felt like a proud dad seeing his baby getting made in 1/6 scale. It’s clear that he enjoyed reminiscing about the development of Food Fight. Congrats Mr. Hurd, Atari and New Wave Toys on developing and releasing Food Fight. 👍
I love all of my New Wave Toys products and over the years I've received exceptional customer service that goes way beyond their call of duty. Thanks for making such fun, well-made collectables that bring me back to a simpler time - a time when I didn't really know what stress even was! Props to Mr. Hurd for his enthusiasm. He seems rather humbled by the whole experience.
Food Fight really made a lasting impression when I first encountered it at my local arcade all those decades ago. It just stood out from the pack somehow as something fresh and new. Getting a chance to own it now in this form is a dream come true. Thank you, New Wave Toys!
Thanks NWT and Jonathan for sharing this moment with all of us fans! I have been with Replicade since the first Centipede and have bought every cabinet since. Not to mention the change machines, boom boxes, and patiently waiting for the Coke machines and Zoltar.
I have been collecting these new wave replicades since the SF2 cab and I can't get enough of em! I'm also a Uber Atari fan so this is super exciting for me and my fam! Thanks New wave! Keep em coming baby!
Congratulations on the successful launch! These are amazing. I just got my Dragon's Lair Replicade and I'm loving all the details that go into every piece of work. I'm looking forward to what New Wave Toys comes up with next!
I love this company. So much nostalgia coming from my childhood at the arcade playing most of these titles brings back some of my best memories of growing up. Keep u0 the great work NWT!
I love New Wave Toys Replicades. I have them all except for Centipede. Food Fight is definitely one of the best looking cabinets yet from New Wave Toys.
Listening to the stories is so awesome, growing up in the arcades of the 80’s, this brings back so many memories. When new machines showed up, it was a pretty big deal. Watching them wheel them in, unboxing them, and plugging them in, was pretty exciting as a kid. Opening my latest Replicade, gave me goosebumps.
The attention to detail that NWT achieves with the Replicades has been outstanding from the moment Centipede hit the streets. Always interesting to hear from the creators & designers. Looking forward to future NWT announcements/releases!
I've been collecting Replicade Arcade Cabs since day one(Centipede), and absolutely love these things. While I can't collect all the variants, I've done my best to get every regular edition(so far at 100%), so I can relive the 80's arcade experience of my childhood. With every new one I get, I'm still amazed at how amazing these turn out each time. Thanks for offering such an amazing product, as these are the only things video game related I collect anymore.
I love hearing these stories from the creator and hearing their point of view on the game and how the industry has evolved over the years. Just based on the amazing quality and wonderful detail I've seen from NWT on the 1942, Q*bert, and Missile Command Field Test Edition x Replicades I've purchased, I'm absolutely interested in adding this to my collection (just as soon as I can afford it--lol)!
This is the best Replicade to date. The color of the art is fantastic and it looks great next to my seven others. I've never seen the full-sized cab at any arcade or show so I'm glad to get a chance to experience the game. Well done.
1) I'm following you. 2) I liked this post. 3) Food Fight is my favorite game and I love the unique cab design. The only thing missing is an autographed Jonathan Hurd cab. Throw 🍉🥧🍊🍉 all day and eat the 🍦
This Game Really hits home with me! I Remember in my hometown of Gardena, CA a place called Ted's Arcade had one ! I was only 12 and spending all my allowance ($10.00) every week to master the game. I got so good that every came over to watch me play. and made a bunch of friends! This was a great feeling for me because at the time I fat kid with no friends and now everyone was cool to me!! LOL
Atari always had the best joystick controls: road runner, APB, paperboy, Star Wars yoke, 720, hard driving, tempest, marble madness dual multiplayer, super sprint
Long ago, I cringed at signatures on the cab with the thought that it would take away from the "original, but diminutive" aspect of the product, but it only took a few milliseconds to realize these are meant to be displayed and used, and to be interesting. Signed copies make them interesting -- Just like getting signed books. Definitely doesn't detract from it. Glad it's not a one-and-done idea. Someday hope to get a signed cabinet myself. : )
New Wave Toys is Amazing! I love the new Food Fight replicade. I can't wait for a driving cabinet!
Love everything you guys are doing! Thanks for giving us such amazing pieces for our collections.
I love all the products from this company. Top-notch quality in every aspect.
Well done!
Thank you New Wave Toys for yet another great RepliCade! Love them all!

Awsome video

I love that so many of these original (gangsta) programmers and game creators are still with us and willing to lend a hand when an autograph is requested! Way cool! :)

I love your company and your products! Been with you guys all the way back from Centipede, keep up the great work!

Great video, thank you! Really enjoyed it. Brought back nice arcade memories from the 80s.
That's a beautiful cabinet!
Love hearing the stories of how these games are created! And from the actual creator!! Thank you, New Wave Toys!!
Love these cabinets. Good fight looks amazing. Can’t wait to get mine. I would love to see some creative ways people have their replicades displayed.
You guys make the best stuff. I love my Qbert and 80s boombox you made. The quality is outstanding.

This is great! I'm bummed I missed out the last overstock of the pre-sale exclusive, but I got my order in for the standard!

Love the banana joystick 🍌😄
This is a great looking cabinet. Props to all involved!
I was able to get one with the yellow trim when they did the launch a couple days ago. Another great cabinet by NWT.
You're lucky they sold out so fast so i got the black one coming
Love New Wave Toys and their Replicades. Nostalgia, fun, and art all rolled into one ! ! !
Definitely one of my favorite Replicades.

This a a great looking cabinet.
Love the yellow t molding!
Collectors everywhere getting stress headaches caused by Jonathan's casual discarding of the packaging 😅. And yes, I'm including myself in that group.
Atari always had the best joystick controls: road runner, APB, paperboy, Star Wars yoke, 720, hard driving, tempest, marble madness dual multiplayer, super sprint
