Black Hole is one of the most beautiful pins to see in person! Solid all-around choice for the first release. Ordered and cant wait to see NWT's progress on this Minipins line!🙌
This is awesome! Honestly, I'm super happy with what this mini-pin represents as Black Hole is a game I hold a lot of nostalgia for, and simply seeing the backglass animated with lights and score, and sounding like the real game while also looking incredibly authentic --- I don't care if it's not playable. It's a beautiful addition to the classic 1:6 scale arcade cabinets, change machine, and eventually Zoltar and vending machines.
Unfortunately, I do care that it is not playable. I am disappointed that it is not. I bet they could make a working mini pinball machine, if they tried. I would buy one then.
@@TheOlvan The good thing is, there are plenty of alternatives (at mostly prohibitively higher price points) to satisfy those who want a playable mini pinball machine for nearly the price of a full size one. Or if you want a virtual pinball machine, those can be made in any scale and at many price points. I made a 1:1 virtual pinball machine for under $1000 many years ago. And it wasn't too long ago, you could buy full size original pinball machines for $1000-3000 regularly. I'm glad I acquired 10 of them before prices got so crazy the past several years, but you can still find deals out there occasionally.
I love and don't love that new pinball i love the way it looks what i dont love about it is the $200+price tag for something that you can not even play unplayable bummer because i really want it
A playable “Golden Age” pinball machine woulda been doable. Some of them didn’t even have flippers. And they’d look good next to the wood grain change and cigarette machines.
Hi, @@sideburn. Thanks for asking! Thom will be talking about FujiNet on Sat Feb 17th at VCF SoCal in Orange, CA. A specific time has not been schedule yet. Keep an eye on the website, and see you there! -Cheers, Steve
Idk this is the first non playable arcade unit right. It LOOKS really good and has some cool features but really wish it was a digital pinball unit as well.
I could see why digital not an option. They’re called “Replicades”. But if at all possible any playable one would be awesome even if it was a simpler late 40’s / 50’s model.
Just spectacular!! And I can understand some enthusiasts/collectors would certainly want the MINIPIN to add to their mini arcades.. It does look and sound SICK! My preference however is for the playable games… And I’ll be ordering from NWT again when the mini TV monitors and/or DL II:Timewarp are available.. 👍🏻❤
Appreciate you moving forward and new things, but much of the allure of the products you offer is their functionality and accuracy. I am not interested in this, but will be looking forward to your next arcade. Lastly, I think a great bridge between arcade cabinets and pinball is: ICE COLD BEER! It’s a perfect transition into mechanical cabinets.
@@Ren_G. I think it’s desirable and might help to start the mechanics combined with the electronics. The ball, metals, boards, holes, and other components would likely bring them closer to a functional pinball. Not to mention they’d likely sell out quickly.
Did you notice how long it took you to power-on each game, fix the carpet, fix cables, etc. There should be a better way to power-on (and off!) the mini-cade.
@@ShawnKessler-g6l @user-xd5sd2ij2c i get your point for sure given all the playable arcade cabinets they put out. The bar was high. But the tech to make it playable would have been cost prohibitive. And realistically, how much fun can you have at 1/6 scale? NWT makes great products. I think, from a brand standpoint, they made the right decision. At the $159 discount price, I'm in. I don't think I'd be in at $199, however. Just not quite enough there for $199.
Attract more would not include the sound of flippers. This should be an option along with quiet mode and random collection of the full range of sounds including tilt.
Again, looks cool as hell, no notes in the looks department, but too expensive for the price if it's not playable. I would have taken a digital playable over a mechanical non-playable.

Sometimes it’s just about the vibe, sounds, and lights. I preordered mine. Can’t wait. New Wave 4 Life.
Ahhhh!! The sounds of my childhood!! I love it and can’t wait to add the pinball series to my collection ❤️❤️❤️
Love how you're sneaking some Berzerk/Frenzy into the background.
I would strongly consider purchasing Gottlieb's Haunted House.
Black Hole and Haunted House are my all time favorite Gottlieb pins!
Looks and sounds amazing
gotta add the Change and Coke machines.
Looks awesome. NWT rules! Keep pumping out cool nostalgic stuff. And remember, you're not going to please everyone!

Yeah, this is what I wanted to see and *hear*, and it sounds like it's lookin like I'm gonna hafta buy it.
Very cool! Got mine ordered! Would have liked to see some footage of the playfield during the super attract mode though...
Awesome, will go great with my cabs. ❤

This is amazing. Ordering!
Is the light underneath a blacklight? Would be great if it made the carpet pads glow
This. Eleventy hundred percent.
Stoked for this. Bring on more!

This just makes me so happy 😍😍
@NewWaveToys Displaying some at VCF SoCal next month in California would be awesome!
What day is Thom Cherryhomes speaking?

Love it! Can't wait to pick it up. It would also be amazing if you did a reissue of SF2. I hadn't heard of this line when it was released .
I would love a SFII reissue too as I can't afford the crazy ebay $$$$$
Ordered instantly! Then again I order everything you guys make. Nailed this…..don’t listen to all the butt hurt people whining! 👊🏻
That’s cute… hmmm… I hear the flippers moving or is that the bumpers?
New Wave Toys,
I'll just say this, I'm glad I pre-ordered :)

SUPER COOL!!!!
Its cool and adds to anyone's mini arcade ambiance, but what would it take to make it playable.
Awesome 😎 can't wait for mine

I love everything you guys do. Wish I could purchase your products in Canada so I am not killed with an extra 50 to 75 bucks on delivery
I hope you make Pinbot
Love this!
Why does the backbox look white?
Looks great! Can’t wait to see more!
Cool...
LOVE. IT.
Oof. This hits home.
A suspicious number of highly-enthusiastic comments for the minipin here based on THIS video? Where you only see the backglass in a lineup? Hmm….
There is a video focusing on the minipin
Awesome! Can’t wait!

I recommended this in a live chat in one of Shilo's interviews... and this one is on their radar.
🤔 Having owned an original before.... I think that could work!

All true! Ball density might be the biggest challenge... sounds very promising though!
Please make NARC. It's a great looking cabinet and a much better game than smash tv.
Do us all a favor and do a reissue of centipede.
Can we get another video without the other cabinets running? It’s hard to hear the sounds.
Surely is something

Looks cool but sf 2 drowns mostly everything out. Lol. We can hear the pinball action.
It is very beautiful, but non-playable is a no go for me. :-(
Did you notice how long it took you to power-on each game, fix the carpet, fix cables, etc. There should be a better way to power-on (and off!) the mini-cade.
So is this actually playable or does it just have an attract mode?
Not playable.
Wow, I love NWT, but I think they missed the mark on this one with a non-playable game. Pretty disappointing IMHO.@@marathonfreak67
I’m so glad it’s not playable, for the gameplay would be horrendous and I cannot shrink myself down to 1/6th size.

Attract mode plus simulated gameplay routines representing single and multiplayer modes. I think it's in "single player" here.
Attract more would not include the sound of flippers. This should be an option along with quiet mode and random collection of the full range of sounds including tilt.
Vid is showing one of the 'simulated play' modes. I'm sure it will also have standard attract mode.

Not playable why not digital playfield ?
Because NWT is not in the business of replicating virtual pinball... or multicades, they aim for the real thing.
Id rather have a digital playfiled thats playable than a display piece that makes noise in attract mode loop, have at it.
