I'm pretty sure that is Ross C playing himself in this video. I saw a photo of the Real Ross and Joyner and I'm pretty sure that's him.
Ross is a professional skateboarder now, and is doing really well. You should totally check out his story. It's inspirational to say the least.
He's not a pro skater, he runs a small concrete placing business. Still skates for fun though.
The craziest part of the story is that in real life the gang was joking about him killing a incident person. So when he called the "gang leader" to tell he shot Ross he freaked and told on him to the cops.
Are you kidding me? Where can I find that info? I only ask because that gang leader should be charged as accessory, joking or not. The guy he called and told was 15 years old. At least he called the police immediately. I heard the kid was defiant in court and his whole family was cheering for him during court.

When a person survives hell its God. Instead of anyone looking at what "GOD" would but this person through hell in the first place. Same story happens all over the world, you just hear the story of the one guy who survived because of God. The one that is a paralyzed mute the rest of his life isn't a good story. It's pretty common during Near-Death-Experiances to feel like an outside force it giving guidance or controlling you. I suspect that it's actually our mind's way of keeping going even after the person has accepted their death.
This is when I was introduced to Joyner Lucas. The video, the song, lyrics, multiple perspectives, overall evaluation of each of their psyche... absolutely brilliant and powerful. A story and message that everyone should experience

It was also over a period of months, one of the lines was "It's been two months since we met, it seemed like we'd gotten close

Man that song is as crazy as it gets. Immortal is the only dude that has ever had me saying wtf about a song. We gotta get our kids their youth back. These kids are more confused everyday, and have concerns on things they shouldn’t even know about. Fix parenting and maybe some of this other stuff will follow.
Pretty hard when these parents live in the suburbs and still listen to shit gangster rap. The kids listen to it early, very impressionable then grow up thinking the from the hood, and the cycle continues.

That’s why we need to squash the gangs out. Right now there’s a lot of validity to being thugs due to the leftist rhetoric and policies. The continuity isn't flawed you just weren't paying attention. When it showed him getting ready in the morning and he had on the air force ones it was the first day they met. When he shot him it was two months later. That was stated in the song.
I moved to Houston TX. in 1999 I was in 7th grade and started going to a school called Deady Middle School and literally my 3rd or 4th day a kid would get to class early and take a nap before class started and another kid went into that classroom and stabbed him in the head twice with a screwdriver for a gang iniation. It was really crazy.

This song is why I respect Joyner Lucas as a writer. His story telling, and POV flips in songs like this shows off a brilliant writers voice. His bangers are well bangers he's not really going in with the same kinda pen, but we know what Joyner is capable of and its some legendary shit like this.

He took some artistic liberties with the story, when Ross tells it I'm pretty sure he said he knew the kid for 10 years But besides that it's pretty spot on.
There is this track: "Joyner Lucas - I'm Not Racist". It has a similar concept as it is also portrayed from 2 different perspectives, from 2 men, sitting face to face in an empty office space. (its is not at all violent, mostly controversial as the title may hint)
