    The craziest part of the story is that in real life the gang was joking about him killing a incident person. So when he called the "gang leader" to tell he shot Ross he freaked and told on him to the cops.

      Are you kidding me? Where can I find that info? I only ask because that gang leader should be charged as accessory, joking or not. The guy he called and told was 15 years old. At least he called the police immediately. I heard the kid was defiant in court and his whole family was cheering for him during court.

    There is a 20 minute documentary on Ross. It is amazing. I am a devout atheist and this kids story almost made me consider the alternative

      When a person survives hell its God. Instead of anyone looking at what "GOD" would but this person through hell in the first place. Same story happens all over the world, you just hear the story of the one guy who survived because of God. The one that is a paralyzed mute the rest of his life isn't a good story.       It's pretty common during Near-Death-Experiances to feel like an outside force it giving guidance or controlling you. I suspect that it's actually our mind's way of keeping going even after the person has accepted their death.

    The shoe continuity is fine.
    He put on one pair at the beginning, and then spent days and days getting to know the kid and his family before killing him. Different shoes on different days.

      @@MrLboydReacts The kid Ross survived and testified agsinst him. You really should react to the story he tells. Just look up his name on youtube. It is a bit different from the way Joyner tells it but is still an amazing story and will make you feel much better about the whole thing.

      It was also over a period of months, one of the lines was "It's been two months since we met, it seemed like we'd gotten close
      Some cat approached me and tried to beef wit' me, I just froze" right after he had dinner with his family. The song is over a period of months rather than one day.

    There’s a video where Joyner shows Busta rhymes this son and he also compares it to nas with the song as a gun and also Stan by Eminem.
    You were the first I’ve seen to so quickly pick up on the second part and the fact he is mirroring the cadence but with the other side of the story
    It’s so cool no matter how many times I hear it

That’s why we need to squash the gangs out. Right now there’s a lot of validity to being thugs due to the leftist rhetoric and policies. Plus, I live in a very white town and hear that crap blaring from teenagers cars all the time. I’m pretty sure whites make up a huge portion of Gangster Rap consumers. Yet, I’ve never heard Garth Brooks slapping from a a car filled with blacks. We know more about MS-13 than we do about these gangs in our own country.

    The continuity isn't flawed you just weren't paying attention. When it showed him getting ready in the morning and he had on the air force ones it was the first day they met. When he shot him it was two months later. That was stated in the song.

    I moved to Houston TX. in 1999 I was in 7th grade and started going to a school called Deady Middle School and literally my 3rd or 4th day a kid would get to class early and take a nap before class started and another kid went into that classroom and stabbed him in the head twice with a screwdriver for a gang iniation. It was really crazy.

    This song is why I respect Joyner Lucas as a writer. His story telling, and POV flips in songs like this shows off a brilliant writers voice.     Anyone else remember when this actually happened to Ross??? That was the craziest shit I ever heard. I still remember my sister telling me what happened and how he survived. Never forgot it after all these years, and Joyner did an incredible job with this project

    At the time when this happened ross was 17 and his so called friend who shot him was 15,and they had actually been friends for like 7 to 8 years before he decided that he was gonna kill ross,which makes it even worse,its not like they only knew eachother for a few months
