After Bonvoyage you can quickly finish up the Versus Duology of which Justice was part 2 and part 1 is OOTD... although at a cursory glance you likely won't see the connection or the full meaning. Someone mentioned Deja Vu which is a good "mostly" standalone. Deja Vu is a collaboration with the mobile game King's Raid. I say "mostly" becuase there's also Eclipse with is the 2nd opening of the King's Raid anime. Their remaining series is their debut Nightmare Series which is 7 tracks: Chase Me, Good Night, Fly High (a prequel), You and I (watch on Dreamcatcher Company channel and not 1theK for English captions), What, Piri, Breaking Out (Japanese, safe to react to). •Note: Rolling Quartz has an official MV cover of Good Night, in case you want to do a 2 group double feature video.
This is the song that got me into Dreamcatcher. I love it and I am happy that you liked it too. There are a couple of live versions worth checking because they showcase how truly good an talented they are.
Yay! More Dreamcatcher! Recommendations? That's always hard with Dreamcatcher because it's ALL so good 😅 "Bon Voyage" would be a logical choice to finish the Apocalypse trilogy. "Deja Vu" would be a good one, as it's one of their best songs and also contains enough proof that they are great at ballads as well. "Sahara" would be good too, because (since it's a self-made video), it will introduce how goofy these girls can be (besides singing this great song). And finally, "Chase Me" would be great because that's where it all started.
Great reaction to a song I love. Watching it, I was almost in tears. Dreamcatcher has that effect on me. I was chuffed to bits when Mrs Coach gave a positive response just a short way in. I've been listening to music for over 50 years, and it's rare to find a group of this calibre.
I saw them recently on November 20th in Houston! I cannot believe its already almost been close to a month, and let me just say WOW they are even more amazing in person ❤
This mv has some of my favourite Dreamcatcher stylings. I mean, Dami in the red uniform, SiYeon in black where you can see her tattoos... I suggest eventually checking out the mv for Break The Wall. The song is amazing and it's a homemade mv where you can really see the members' sense of humour
I'm glad you both like Dreamcatcher, now if we can get you both to like Rolling Quartz more that would be awesome. Thank you again for all of your reactions.
If you feel like getting sentimental for the season, I recommend Insomnicsy's music film for "Fireflies", a b-side from the "Justice" album. It's a beautiful, ballady fan song.
Thank you for your appreciation of Justice! I agree that it is one of the best songs of the year, although as an InSomnia I am biased. I also thought Vision was a close to perfect Dreamcatcher song - my personal favorite of the trilogy, yet it was under-appreciated - it was the only song of the Apocalypse trilogy not to get a show win.
dreamcatcher \:D/ while the lyrics are a bit more ambiguous like most dreamcatcher songs, you can interpret from the imagery that it's essentially an anti-war song. war after all is one way mankind can bring about the apocalypse 😉 after you finish bon voyage and the trilogy, you should check out some of their nightmare series(chase me, good night, fly high, you and I, what, piri) or a couple of their japanese tracks(endless night, eclipse). and if you want to mix it up, toss in a few bsides because dreamcatcher makes 'special clips' for many of their bsides so you get a lower budget type video but I assure you nothing low budget about their bside songs 😆. below are some(non-ballad) b-sides with special clip videos you can check out: and there was no one left red sun sleep walking mayday wonderland july 7th sahara black or white(dingo performance video) wind blows(genie play color performance video) poison love fairytale demian shatter
Out of the 3, I like bonvoyage the best. But dreamcatcher is so good. I love how they bring the rock elements. There Japanese mv, are even harder then the Korean one. Endless night good choice for alil more harder rock.
Hi Coach! I really enjoy your reactions and have noticed that we share similar tastes in music, like metal bands (AC/DC, Nightwish, etc.) and Babymonster (we even have the same biases-Asa and Ahyeon!). I think you might enjoy reacting to GFRIEND as well. Their music features string instruments, guitar solos during the bridges, and powerful vocals. Plus, their group dances are incredible-they’re famous for their synchronization and for inventing the 2X speed dance challenge. Here are some of their titles that I highly recommend: Rough, Sunrise, Mago, Time for the Moon Night, and Me Gustas Tu. They’re currently celebrating their special 10th anniversary comeback, and their Killing Voice performance was released yesterday-you should definitely check it out!
"Vision" is part 2 of the Apocalypse trilogy. I believe they are showing us the perspective from the future in this series, showing us how the earth looks like when we keep acting like we do. While "Maison" was talking about the destruction of the environment, here they seem to be talking about the destruction due to war. I don't know if that was the idea from the beginning, but Putin's aggression definitely played a role here. In one set they even dance in front of what looks sort of like a huge trident, which is the coat of arms of Ukraine (could be a coincidence though, or this is me seeing things). It is easy to see how the conflict in Ukraine could result in global destruction. It's just a push of a button away. Note that Dami presses a launch button, but it's not for nukes. It's for spreading their message, their vision. Peace. To be heard all around the world. The song is also a call for action, to stand together against aggressors and those who are destroying the planet out of greed. There is not much difference between someone leading an army or a corporation, if the result is destruction. Still, Dami said the intention is to resolve the problems in a peaceful way. So, what do we do? There is no easy answer. Dami has an outfit that shows that perfectly. One half is an innocent bridal dress, the other half is simply badass. What I know is that any aggressor only listens to very limited diplomacy, and they need to know that the good in the world is ready and willing to fight them if needed. Whoever the aggressor is, we are more than them. They need to know they will never succeed, the only option is peace. By the way, my interpretation could be completely wrong, any other theory is perfectly valid as well. Musically, it's heavier than Maison, and I feel it fits the subject matter very well. It sounds aggressive and heavy, but also soft and vulnerable. There is the duality again. And I love the fake keychange at the end of the chorus, the crazy bass and the guitar in the bridge. All in all this is a fantastic release!

Same here. It's the sole reason I even gave kpop a chance. Now I'm deep into it and a Dreamcatcher fan
Yay! More Dreamcatcher!

Dreamcatcher is one of my favorites, but...they caught one of my dreams and they won't give it back. Oh well, I got plenty. ;)
😅

They truly are fantastic.
So glad you appreciate them.
One thing I did want to mention. How is your dog now? Is he out of the wars now?
Thanks for asking. He is doing ok. He is pretty much incontinent and has to wear diapers now.
@@CoachCastTV Thanks 😊
Thanks for this reaction. Love Dreamcatcher. Did see them live. “Deja Vu” is my favorite song from Dreamcatcher. Followed by “Justice”.
Awww yea! 1 of my top 2 groups. They're different and so good. They eay that guitar cones in on the chorus is 😘
I would probably recommend Deja Vu.
I saw them recently on November 20th in Houston! I cannot believe its already almost been close to a month, and let me just say WOW they are even more amazing in person ❤
That's awesome you saw them live.
Lets go Dreamcatcher!!!

Very interesting, but glad to hear the other two did!

Dreamcatcher Good Night and Rolling Quartz's cover of Good Night would be a reaction to look forward for.
We may try to do those together.

i think mrs coach’s bias might be jiu, she’s always saying how pretty her voice is 🥹🥹
