Both items are off meta for Renata. Nashor's grants more synergy with Renata's abilities but you can build both if you wanna try such build for fun. She is supposed to be played with support items
Berserker's boots and nashor tooth along W provide decent attack speed, get as much AP as possible with Void Staff and your passive will absolutely vaporize bruisers and tanks, works well with champs that can get a burn item or just deal continuous damage to enemies and proc your passive consistently, sad part is she lacks wave clear and her base stats are awful since she's a support. I used to spam Renata mid in ranked between Diamond and Plat then they nerfed her stats and it became too hard to solo lane.
