- A stroll on a Sunday afternoon to Kimmeridge Bay. The bay is a part of the Jurassic Coast - World Heritage Site.
The rocks are composed of highly organic, black mudstones with a slate-like bedding structure, allowing it to be broken easily along these lamination planes. The rock, known as the Kimmeridge Clay Formation, is of Kimmeridgian age (157.3 and 152.1 million years old) from the Jurassic Period.

It's a beautiful area of the coast. Loved seeing all the rock formations and the wet pebbles. The waterfalls by the ocean are really fascinating. Great photos - this is inspiring!
