Thank you for helping the rabbits have a home in their natural environment. You've obviously put a great amount of work to this. (Does "free-range" mean meat animals? If so, I take back everything nice I have said to you in this message. I have heard from many sources that Llamas will guard your pets against coyotes and other predators. I did a google search and found out there is a huge range in price, but $300.will get you a wonderful pet. Good luck with your "colony." I think it is fascinating.
colombian222 ive got 2 bonded males, 2 bonded females, and then 2 females but theyre both by themselves, i tried bonding those 2 females but that resulted in a trip to the vets 😐
Sarah Frost Ohhhhh I see.....older rabbits can sometimes be set in their ways. Easier to start when they are younger. I hope things work out for you though.
colombian222 thank you! yeah its not a problem really because the individual onea live in mine and my dads room so arent lonely, they visit the others sometimes too :D
The ones with the black spots, what breed is that? Because I caught a look-a-like one in my backyard. One that had been roaming in everyone's yard for at least 2 months. No one claimed the animal (I've went from door to door), so it's mine now. And she's a real sweetheart, just a little bit "skidish", but that's understandable after having spent that much time on the street. But no one was able to catch it until I made an animal friendly trap. ^^ And just this morning - after having her in for about 2 weeks - I discovered she is pregnant. And due the amount of time she was roaming around the only guilty one is a wild rabbit. ^^ Ps: I live in Western Europe, where it's not uncommon for pet rabbits that have escaped (and caught again) to all the sudden give birth to hybrids. ;)
+TheOpelkoenjas I wonder what the babies will look like! Maybe make a video? The spotted ones are mix between California and New Zealand. Thanks for watching and subscribing!
TheOpelkoenjas All pet rabbit breeds originally came from wild European rabbits so it is not surprising that they can crossbreed since that would be her progenitor. In the USA we have wild cottontails which can't cross breed with pet rabbits. The species are too different.
No they can not. Wild Rabbits Domesticated rabbits are descendants of European Rabbits. They are only distant cousins to Sylvilagus floridanus, the Eastern Cottontail in America. While all 45 breeds of domestic rabbits can interbreed, they cannot breed with cottontail rabbits or hares. The embryos will not survive. www.hopperhome.com/feral_rabbit_colonies.htm
Why can't the cat be with the rabbits?? I have three cats and one rabbit. The cats are mostly afraid of the rabbit, but they like him enough to lay around in the grass with him from time to time.
@@chelseac4481 1) Cats like all animals are unpredictable. 2) Cats are predators and can kill and eat rabbits. 3) Rabbits are naturally easily stressed and frightened animals. If you're a rabbit lover, why take the risk?
Rabbits are cutest, sweetest, most lovable best pets ever.
Thank you for letting them have time to play outside.

That cat is looking at all of the rabbits as a potential meal and is seeking to take the weakest of them.
Love that space. Wish I could do that for my kids

+Lisa Hauff All of those breeds never had a natural environment. They are all man made breeds.
As a bunny owner I can say that even if they are livestock this man is making their lives comfy and happy. He’s gotta make a living
fucking heaven
In more ways than one.
silly cat with those rabbits
Aren’t they digging?
How’d you get these many bunnies
how are they not fighting!? i cant even bond my 6 together properly!
Sarah Frost you have to give them plenty room. Males will fight often if they are too close.

Greeting from Indonesia i'm breeding rabbits too
Check my Rabbit colony out. You will probably like it
Your gonna eat some right?
Why put them together with a cat
It's so wrong to have a cat among those rabbits. Please take that cat away!!!!
Brentford1967 they were just playing around. Cat can climb out at anytime and the bunnies are fast so they aren’t bothered.

All of my rabbits and cats get along. They all enjoy playing with each other and I can tell by the body language and noises.
I suggest you to take the cat away coz it will eat the babies I know it coz I used to keep rabbit
