I guess people are concerned for him but to me he looks happy that he is a part of everything you've created. Keep keeping him active because it is usefulness at his age that keeps him going. Blessings to you all. You are a very nice family. :)
I can’t believe Debi had to spend the first few minutes of her video explaining her relationship with her father.😢 I’ve been watching Debi and family for years! The blessing is managing 3 generations coming together to build a business. They also build each other ; they go to church together. Who doesn’t see that !!????? And…………. Debi’s got a MAN!!! Family’s will have moments. The family of Jesus……. Had moments! Pray for what bothers you about them through your filter . YOUR FILTER! They love God and love each other . Well, I've thought he seemed tired, or not so enthusiastic at times, but. I never said anything because I suppose if he didn't want to be involved, he wouldn't... I think people care enough to say something... But intention doesn't always convey as well in comment form as a writer expects. Since I've gone through the death of four parents and various states of their illnesses and declines, I'm sorta sensitive to how an elder moves, speaks, and behaves. Elderly sure don't like to share when they're not doing well until they can't hide it... And sometimes we just don't notice changes because we're busy... This ain't hating. This is speaking from MY experience. Debi's family is close, so I'm sure they are always taking care with pop. 😘

Good grief! Haters get over it!!! What a blessing for Debi to have her Dad with her. My Dad passed away January 2010 and I miss him EVERY DAY!!! Not to mention I buried my only child June 2019 and my brother January 2021. Debi is blessed to have her family helping her in her business. I would love to have a supportive family like hers; but they don't support me at all. I rarely hear from them and rarely see them. Just be happy Debi has people that love her. Not everyone has that. By the way Debi, I look forward to your video every Sunday. Your creativity is so inspiring! Love to you and your family ❤️

In a world of conformity Debi is a breath of fresh air. It’s why I started following her when she was doing the diaries. An honest open person not afraid to be herself. I love the whole family but Dad stole my heart, especially since I lost my father about four years ago. He’s got the same dry humor. Dad is his own person, you can’t make him do anything, his heart makes him do those things. They forget he’s not fifty he might look tired he knows his limits. Bobby is amazing to. Have to say, your shop is filled with so many interesting things that I wish I could spend the day exploring all the nicks-and-crannies that we just get a quick glance at on your videos. I need to watch the video again in slow motion to see all the stuff that is so easily missed ~ sigh... I'm jealous that you have SO MANY second hand shops near you, not many that are worthwhile by me. Living out in the 'boonies' makes it harder to get around, so time consuming. Your dad is like my dad, may he rest in peace. They’re old school, they always have to be doing something, either fixing or cleaning the yard, watering/gardening, doing side projects. It’s in them! My dad would wake up at 6am, make his morning coffee with sweet Mexican bread. Then he would go outside and start doing his yard work, cutting cactus, cleaning off the thorns… he did this till he was 85. So when I see your dad on YT, puts a smile on my face… ppl need to mind their own..

I think it's great that your dad keeps busy like that, it's good for him. My husband is 72 and he still does the work of 3 people, he's a machine, but he's stubborn and doesn't want to sit still LOL.

I have to watch your video at least five or six times because you are so inspiring. What happens is I’ll see something that makes me think of something else that starts me all on a whole other thought. I just can’t stop daydreaming about creative ideas. So then I REALIZE I’ve been daydreaming and I’ve missed some of your video, and I have to rewind it so I can rewatch it and then I start daydreaming again 🤣🤣🤣

Awesome projects! That dresser is beautiful. I love seeing your creativity at work as you upcycle your thrift finds. And, I love the relationship you have with your dad - my dad passed away when I was in my 20s so he has been gone for over 30 years now. He could do carpentry, metal work, electrical work, etc. He built his workshop in the backyard and was always looking for a project to work on.

I live on a small island and here on the Isle of Wight we live in a tiny hamlet next to a village - there are 4 charity shops within walking distance which makes me really happy ❤...lots of interesting bits and each charity shop is slightly different. The thing I love about buying second hand pieces is you never know what might be there .....my daughter is having a baby - I popped into one of the shops and found a simply gorgeous victorian silver christening spoon in its original leather box , with wonderful sweet hinges and a metal clasp catch ...adorable ❤...all I've done is silver dip the spoon to get rid of the tarnish and now it gleams like its brand new . Can't wait to give it to her ....my first grandchild too 🎉xx

Debi, I absolutely love that dresser - it is beautiful. I'm going to purchase those roses to place on a lingerie dresser or maybe my black French daybed I just painted black. Daniele's bathroom is so pretty - pretty colored glass knobs from Hobby Lobby would be cute, too! Your dad NEVER looks tired - he is so full of energy and is always delightful! I actually find the fact your dad is involved is amazing. Its definitely a blessing for all. I would have ,over to have that opportunity with my daddy and his granddaughter. I have a friend thats father is 73. He still flourishes at working and providing. She worries about him.... I say that is who he is. Don't ever take that away from him..

Your dad is just like us to our son. He had a scooter shop and we always looked forward to coming and working on our days off. Making things, painting things and just enjoyable fun helping him. He decided to close after a few years and we were so sad , because now what were we suppose to do now. Ha Ha Your dad just enjoys helping his girls and I know how he feels. Thanks for all your ideas, love them and very colorful, just like I do.
