Hearing Jarvis explain Dipper's puppy gawkiness as "not really good with his body" and "still kinda learning it" is exactly how I wish people would have described my awkward teenage years
It's more or less how my mom described it when I hit my tweens, had a massive growth spurt (I was a super early bloomer) and spent my days tripping over my own feet. It helped a bit, but it didn't fully sink in until I saw it start to happen to everyone else years later, where I then passed on the sentiment when it seemed needed. Most people appreciated it, especially if they were talking about being "really clumsy lately." Although you didn't get the grace of people understanding, you can pass it on now that you know a good way of putting it! If you have anyone young in your life who's getting frustrated over how clumsy they are, you can remind them that it's normal and natural because they're still learning, still "getting it," especially if they just had a growth spurt. Everyone's clumsy after a growth spurt, but it's so easy to be hard on yourself when you're a teenager, especially since everyone grows at different rates. Sorry for the long reply, I suddenly felt like I had a lot to say
@ I1like1wood1ash 1: sick username. 2: I fully relate but even though I tripped over my own two feet, I also tripped others with them. My clownish self stepped on my mom’s foot in some flip flops while walking into Disneyland, broke her toe, and she had to spend the day at the hotel resting. Missed my first roller coaster. Big regerts. But very validating to know I wasn’t the only one tripping every ten feet and corner.
i live in mexico and the general opinion i've seen people have of the stop signs on food packaging is "the more the merrier" lmao. also, people don't mind if you have a terrible accent or grammar when attempting to speak spanish, so many tourists just shout english in everyone's face that most locals are happy to hear you try your best.
I asked that on Reddit years ago and a bunch of native speakers of many languages all answered the same saying it's more polite to butcher a tongue roll or accent than do it "American" I gotta level with you that's a rough one for US people to understand as we are still trying to educate our parents on why the "Fa Ra Ra Ra Ra, Ra Ra Ra Ra" scene from A Christmas Story is racist.
My mom told a story once of being in France with her little phrase book and going into a shop and nervously trying to be carefully cobble together a question that made sense and didn’t totally mangle the language and the shopkeeper waited very impassively. Then once she came up with it and tried he began to very smoothly and willingly help her in English. He just wasn’t gonna put himself on the line and bend over backward if she was the super entitled flavor of American tourist I guess 😂

It’s so true about languages. I studied Turkish for 6 years in school, then started learning Korean. The amount of times I would try to recall a word, but have the Turkish word come out instead of Korean… 😭 And can you imagine Korean but with a Turkish accent?? Thank god the Korean teacher I had was a huuuuuuge stickler for pronunciation, so I was able to speak properly. Now I’m working on Vietnamese, and Jesus Christ almighty. I’m now at a point where I can think a sentence in a combination of English, Turkish, Korean, and Vietnamese.💀 I also studied a little bit of Arabic, Greek, Swedish, and Russian, but not extensively enough to be conversational. It’s fascinating how the brain works when switching from one language to a completely different one.
Can i ask how you go about starting language learning? Does it depend on the language? I'm psyching myself up for starting Arabic after being told by everyone that it's going to be horrendously difficult, and I'm just overwhelmed by where or how to start.
Dish soap applied to the spot, sitting for a few minutes helps really bad stains, and then washing with cool/cold water should get out most grease stains and other stains, too.

The language thing is so real. I used to be fluent in Serbian and after not speaking it at all for 20 years, on a recent visit I found I still had so much of it in my brain, but getting it out my mouth was so difficult. We all just need practice 😊

WISHBONE IS A JACK RUSSELL TERRIER. He is the reason that they’re my favorite dog. The beowulf one made my cry and I refused to reread it as a kid. Whenever I would think about it I would feel sick bc it was so upsetting to me
Yo thanks for the shoutout lmao (I wrote the Russell Brand thread)
It was so good! Thank you for suffering so we didn't have to (well i mean we did a bit but as much)
you expect "oui" to sound like it did when you learned it in class "wii"
went to Quebec (i know its not real french) and they're saying "Wehh" like fucking Waluigi
Ouais is like yeah whereas Oui is yes
I have a bull terrier and when i introduce her to people she gets called everything but her name. “Walter” “Spud Mckenzie” “Target Dog” “Bullseye” “Egg Head”
But what about cutie patootie 🥺
Well, what’s hers? Are the names they’re calling her better than her Christian name? 😂
@@mizzenmax her name is Ella 😭 I dont know, I’m kinda partial to Egg Head. I also call her Big Head myself
Whats her personality like? Her quirks? I've always been curious bc I rarley see bull terriers lol
@@katc2040 ummmm so she sleeps most of the day then randomly in spurts throughout the day she wakes up from her naps and either shoves her nose in my down unders (she loves sniffing people where they dont wanna be sniffed. Thats her main quirk and she’s so hard headed there is no training her out of it. She is determined), or she will get zoomies and start trying to get anyone and everyone to play with her. Then once i do play with her she stops and goes to lay down again 😭
She’s stubborn, will do what she wants and wont listen to you unless she wants to. She does this thing i call “i want” when she begs because she groans in a way that specifically sounds like she’s saying “i want”
She talks. Randomly. Not barks, but makes weird vocalizations out of nowhere lol kinda like you might know of Huskies doing. Not the howling but the weird noises they make, she does that
She melts lol she makes her body go flat only in the lower half. And she holds her top half up like superman flying, and she will stare you down wagging her tail until she gets compliments for her melting
She loves having photos and videos taken of herself, if she sees my phone out she does the weirdest poses for the camera
She’s a goofy goober overall
Oh and she pushes me off the bed. Hates baths. Hates walks. Hates the car. I have tried associating all those things with treats and praise but she seems to think the world is ending if you do any of those things to her
Very long reply but 😂😂 she is a very quirky dog. I love her
Yalls merch shirts are so gosh darn comfy! I usually despise a crew neck but took a chance and I’m glad I did because it doesn’t choke me but it’s also not too loose ❤ keep up the good work boys, I’ll be all over the next drop!
21:15 my cat has grown up w 3 small (very loud lap dogs) he growls & will attack like a literal canine if he feels threatened rather than his own species (also plays fetch) cats adapt usually to whatever they grow up w, so their behavior can depend on that
The Starbucks in the parking lot is usually due to a really long drive through line. If it’s long enough, they’ll send employees out to get more orders and then have them bring out the drinks so that people don’t have to wait in the line of cars. That’s how it is in the Midwest (in my experience) at least. Also boycott Starbucks
5:01 this reminded me of evil jordan who loves the UK and french people
went on youtube after studying for 2,5 hrs and this was at the top of my revommended im so happy🙏
Sad boyz just in time to wash my hair I’m so happy
I’m from the midwest. We have curbside delivery where they take your order to your car, but you have to order on an app. They don’t come out like a waitress to your car lol
when I used to go to Starbucks down south, during peak hours on the drive-thru, baristas would come out to the car and take orders.
I have never related to an another humans brain as much as I related to jarvis’s. Glad to see a fellow word describer.
I'm Irish and learned Irish Gaelic in school for 17 years. I can't remember most of it but now that I emigrated and need to speak German, Gaelic comes to mind. I'll start speaking it if im on autopilot
Also irish but grew up in the north in an area wherein we literally weren't allowed to learn it 🫠🫠🫠 poo. Hope German is goin well for ya pal
nobody calls it gaelic. it's just irish
@@themischief420 we mostly called it gaeilge or Gaelic in school 🤷
@@frogsbongs gaeilge yes but not gaelic because quite literally it doesn't make sense. "gaelic" is an umbrella term for multiple languages, it is not a language.
@@themischief420 that's why I said Irish Gaelic at first and assumed people would know I'm talking about the same Gaelic throughout 😅
Dipper running down the stairs too quickly because he wants snacks is actually so me it hurts
DO NOT shit talk bear in the big blue house. that show is fantastic, i have a tattoo of it. don’t involve us (me and my childhood comfort show) into whatever this russell brand nonsense is
2 sponsors in one video? ok damn get that coin
That video with the dog reminded me of when my brother was a toddler, and we had gates and the top and bottom of the stairs. One day, someone left the top gate open, but the bottom gate was closed (my brother was downstairs at the time). Then out of nowhere, our Labrador came bounding down the stairs and leaped over the bottom stair gate. We were terrified as she was about 11 years old at the time and she’d never done anything like that before, but thankfully she was OK.

Too bad the amulet doesn't work to get them past the first round of the playoffs. And I say that as a die hard leafs fan.
We never get any bonkers news in October but John Tavares has decided to feed me for months!
The michael Meyers William Shatner connection is that the original mask was an inside out Shatner mask
afaik it was discolored instead of inside out
@@themischief420 nothing I heard had any sort of vetting so that wouldn't surprise me either
27:18 NO FFFRRRRRRRRR I have the most intence startle instinct- its so irritating. For example I was walking with headphones and I turned around and saw a woman walking behind me, I fully yelped and jumped into the air. If someone at a coffee shop TOUCHED ME?! NAAAAAAWWW I would have screamed bloody murder and fallen out my chair- your reaction was completely normal.
p.s. People need to stop touching stangers or going in for hugs with acquaintances. I always feel so bad when I say I don't like hugs- but they've always made me so uncomfy
Thank you for talking about subtle foreshadowing. I just saw one today with zero context and had never been so confused 😂😂
47:30 I was always terrified of a snake coming out of the toilet… or the ghosts of a bug I’d killed that day and flushed down the toilet
i live in the PNW- most coffee stands (starbucks, dutch, some non-chain) come out to take your order so they can prep and start making it after they finish the person in front of urs. it was kinda crazy to see people think it’s weird cause i always forget it’s unique to here
the starbucks one is a sketch lol
Best part of fridayyyyy finally!
i ordered wine at this really big busy public event the other night and i know how to say sauvignon blanc but bc i was so anxious it came out as “save blank”
When your watching a sad boyz vid and another one comes out at the same time 😍
The sad boys bingo is legendary as a longtime community live bingo enjoyer
first time in a while since ive watched sad boyz (been listening via podcast) and the setup looks great!! also please do a international travel ep omg
The shonen jump magazines in the back 👏👏👏👏
already watched the video completely and im disappointed, the boys werent sad enough
On the scale of sad to boyz, they were definitely more boyz this ep
"that's not a knoife" 38:23 anstasia with the underrated jokes 😂
Ghoulies 3 is my favorite of the series. They go to college and meet Matthew Lillard. It stops trying to be scary like the first two, but it's a decent movie for stupid laughs.
There are Starbucks with handheld point-of-sale devices to speed up drive thrus, but that is not a pen and paper, nor is that happening in the rain 😂
"DON'T OPEN THAT ONE YET!"
"I'm... taking the... tape off" 🤣🤣🤣
Before this video, I hadn't heard of subtle foreshadowing. Immediately after I finished this video, I started watching the latest episode of Bit City on Smosh and they did some subtle foreshadowing within the first two minutes
18:27 on that note, some skaters will run the trick first. I have seen many a s8r b0i run down the steps before going back up and actually sending it. That dawg had legit technique lol
At Starbucks, if the drive thru line is long, they bring out a tablet and get orders before you reach the speaker
starbucks does have people work the parking lot the same as dutch bros! source: close friend is a starbucks barista and she HATES working lot haha they take orders and then you pick up at the window, i’ve personally never experienced them bringing anything out to you tho
It’s so true about languages. I studied Turkish for 6 years in school, then started learning Korean. The amount of times I would try to recall a word, but have the Turkish word come out instead of Korean… 😭
And can you imagine Korean but with a Turkish accent?? Thank god the Korean teacher I had was a huuuuuuge stickler for pronunciation, so I was able to speak properly.
Now I’m working on Vietnamese, and Jesus Christ almighty.
I’m now at a point where I can think a sentence in a combination of English, Turkish, Korean, and Vietnamese.💀
I also studied a little bit of Arabic, Greek, Swedish, and Russian, but not extensively enough to be conversational. It’s fascinating how the brain works when switching from one language to a completely different one.
I'm trilingual (immigrant + consuming media in english since childhood) and I think the funniest thing are the dreams. never know which it's gonna be.
Can i ask how you go about starting language learning? Does it depend on the language? I'm psyching myself up for starting Arabic after being told by everyone that it's going to be horrendously difficult, and I'm just overwhelmed by where or how to start.
Skipped ahead to see Russel and Jordan had a little toilet? Then moments later JARVIS has an even LITTLER TOILET???
Dish soap applied to the spot, sitting for a few minutes helps really bad stains, and then washing with cool/cold water should get out most grease stains and other stains, too.
Anastasia’s voice during her manual window story, reminded me of the voice of the MC from Bee and Puppycat on Netflix.
...I think I want more sad boyz playing with toys lol
6:14 this conversation is so relatable!!! I’m trying to learn Portuguese and French and I’m so anxious to speak when I do speak my wires get so crossed. It’s so embarrassing:(
Tbf, Portuguese might as well be from a different planet
Just eating pizza and watching this. Hell yeah.
When I can't think of a word I just start describing it with whatever words I can find and it works pretty well
This reminds me about an episode of creep cast when Hunter was adamant that anyone talking to you at a gas station was doing something nefarious but Isaiah thought it was completely normal. I think it’s a lot to about where you were raised
31:27 at least when I worked at Starbucks back in 2023, we would go out to the cars during rushes to keep up with the drive thru lines
The language thing is so real. I used to be fluent in Serbian and after not speaking it at all for 20 years, on a recent visit I found I still had so much of it in my brain, but getting it out my mouth was so difficult. We all just need practice 😊
About the language and speaking being hard, I was a foreign exchange student in the Netherlands and I experienced that all the time. I could not respond even though I completely understanding what people were saying to me. It sucked so bad.
Can we talk about how smooth that tide pen catch was
Jarvissss, i have the chronic urticaria too. My doctor gave me a different antihistamine and it’s working wonders atm. Fexofenidine, works better for me that citirizine. You probably already tried but just in case.
Chronic urticaria sucks big time. Big love ❤
5:52 i feel the same way, my mom keeps telling me to practice spanish i learned in school but i feel so scared sounding so dumb and slow even though i know most people don’t mind especially for tourists
As someone with a cat who loves playing fetch I have to say I saw that one coming
31:11 the only times ive had starbucks baristas come out to the car is when the drive thru line is super long or their system is down
