Bill Gibson is one of the all time greats! No huge drum kit, no collection of cymbals ... just a basic kit with a couple of extra toms and cymbals. Very underrated!
Johnny's first time playing solo on rhythm guitar? He is so talented with everything he's done with HLN, his guitar skills should not be ignored either! I love this song!
It's funny, when the album came out and I was obviously much younger, I was disappointed that it wasn't a rocker like I'd come to expect after Sports, parts of Fore, and later Hard at Play, but as I've aged, this song in particular and much of Plan B have grown on me. This has a groove I didn't feel when I was in my 30s, but I found it in my early 50s, make no mistake.
These really are a fantastic band, and this track in particular, is just beautiful. More than a hint of Steely Dan, with the chord progressions, the horns, and the little guitar fills. This is not an insult by the way. I'm just saying if this track turned up on the brilliant "two against nature", album, it would sit seamlessly
Real music...simple message. I heard the music of Marvin Gaye...grateful for the music thank you !

OMG what an awesome, tight sound. Guitarist is Awesome. I can actually hear the BASS. Happy birthday to the Bassist if I am correct.
Wow! I just heard this track on Spotify. What a great track. I thought it was Robert Cray on lead. Amazing talent, soaring guitar. Love it.
