- Conor McKenna was recruited in 2015 from Tyrone in Northern Ireland where he played Gaelic football. He signed a three year contract in 2015 and has now recently resigned for another four years to continue playing AFL at Essendon. McKenna is known for his ability to quickly turn defence into attack with his surging runs from deep. He averaged career-best numbers in 2017 with 16.9 disposals at 76 per cent efficiency, 4.1 intercept possessions, 3.9 score involvements, 2.9 rebound 50s and 334.1 metres gained.
