Ashanti Jackson They really are a life-changing experience, aren’t they?
I discovered them decades ago entirely by accident when I was given the wrong tickets or something for a show at the Kennedy Center and they were there rather than the event I had thought I was going to. The theater actually let me go to both with no extra charge - so of course I stayed to watch these folks since I was already dressed up and there. I never would have discovered them otherwise. I was absolutely transfixed - every time I’ve seen them perform.
