These labels really elevate the slow stitching projects to a whole new level! Such a wonderful idea. I especially like the words and designs that you chose for the woodland workshop scroll. And the addition of the beads and sequins to the labels, of course! 🤩
Just love the way your studio is filling up with all your lovely makes, so inspiring while watching you create your latest piece. Love the lettering class as it makes for such a personal finish to any project. Great tips for alternatives too.
Wonderful video. And thank you for the free download of the alphabets. Very kind of you and I think I can safely say we all appreciate it. And congrats on 200,000 subscribers! Blessings from Kansas....
Hi Sarah, loving these I remember adding labels like this to my Forest sampler after being with you in April. I've been wanting to make a note of all the stitches I've made to my sampler scroll so I think I'll create stitched labels and either sew them to the front or back and as I unroll the piece I'll know which stitch is which or I may make an additional scroll and attach it to the end of my scroll when it's finally finished. Thanks for sharing and inspiring me Hx
Hey Sarah! Wondering if you would share some tips / advice about hand-embroidering long sections of text? I have a dear friend that loves a poem that I thought would make a lovely gift if I hand-crafted it and then framed it for her. I've been searching for ideas to successfully make this happen. I was thinking I might print out the verse, trace it like you demonstrate here, and stitch it with maybe only two strands of cotton. Just not even sure if this is even doable. What are your thoughts? ~Kelly 🪡
I'm new to embroidery (doing some embroidery kits for beginners where the pattern is mapped out for me). I keep losing the thread on the needle. The loose tail really trips me up. Are there any tricks for beginners to secure the thread to the needle, or a way Im supposed to hold it to not lose my thread? I find if I try to tie the thread to the needle its really hard to pull through fabric.
Thanks

Thank you for your tips. My eye was drawn to a piece on viewers’ left. A piece with some seed pods attached. Will you show us that one of these days?
Beautiful! Thank you!
Hi Sarah. Just watched this video and you showed stitched mushrooms in your sampler. Do you have a video for this as I can’t see it listed. 🤷♀️
