Any indication on whether or not it can tell you if and when you need to change the filters if you’re not basing it on the 3-6 month recommended cycle-in/cycle-out time frame?
What I like is that the replacement filter is a set of two, one for each side, and is a mere $160. Nice. Plus, it recommends being replaced every 4 months, so that's just 160 x 3 = $480 per year to operate. Just $1074 for the unit and a set of replacement filters. Nice. If you drop down from 560 CFM in this unit to 410 CFM in the Levoit Core 600S, the unit costs $300, and the replacement filter is about $46/year. Much nicer.
Except the Levoit 600s filters don't filter much of anything. All the Levoits I've tried, not only under perform rating they don't get the fine and ultrafine particles. if a very poor quality solution.
I'm considering buying one of these for a house that is almost 2,000sq ft. Has it reduced the amount of visible dust? That is one issue I deal with constantly, is the amount of dusting I have to do since we live more in the country.
I'd like to place an MA-112 in the corner of a 700sq foot area.. can it be programmed so that it turns on daily for 30 minutes? Or can it be controlled via internet?
SOS! Isn’t there supposed to be an air quality indicator light up on the front? And I don’t see any light emission from UV light even when I turn off the lights in the room is this for real or is it some kind of fake I got on Amazon?
Still happy with the 112?
Also how often do you replace filters dirty environments?

This is for very large spaces, not small. The cost of purifying very large spaces is more expensive.

Does the machine have a phone app I can download to control or link to google home or Alexa?
Does the MA-112 have a phone application? Wondering if I can use with my google home or Alexa?
Why would you play music when showing the dB output of the air purifiers

Came here after seeing your medium post. Amazing stuff!
Thanks! What products would you want to see me cover?
Ahh medium. Now the soy look and severe lack of intelligence are starting to make sense.

The MA-112 comes in two models. There is a non UV model and HEPA 14 + UV model.
Make sure its the same model if its got the same exact name most likely its not
Is actually 5000 sq ft in an hour and they also make an option for an even better 14 filter.
Every classroom in my school has 2 of these for some reason
This vs Alen vs Blueair for large room?
This one, hands down. I measure pm2.5 in the air with a meter and this purifier removes them incredibly well.
@@DIYLifeTech thank you. I have about 800sf + 12 ft ceilings. Am worried about noise
how much does filter cost?
$139 at the moment
139 where? I see 500 on ebay
@@garyfranklin4510 $255 on amazon
what is wrong with negative ions?
They cause dust to fall down onto the ground rather than circulate through the filters
They're also somewhat harmful in large amounts
Mine worked for one day and died, tried everything, still dead. Really unhappy.
