i dropped one of them in my coffee😁 quickly got it back and washed it with water. its been 3 weeks, it still working. but problem with fitting in my ear is still there, i just become more aware about that.
I do not agree, these are just convenient and the ANC and transparency are great. There is a simple way to make the earbuds sound flat. Wavelet is what I use
noise canceling on xm5 it is tragedy doesn't matter which tips i use xm4 have quite good noise canceling I not understand why people say nose canceling on xm5 its so good if noise canceling on xm5 earbuds it very weak in practical it useless good was in xm4 not best but good as i use before wf1000xm4 wf1000xm5 was were such a big disappointment I have completely lost trust in Sony.... and most presenters from youtube who turned out to be just lying, sell-out whores...

The sound is good! However, they don't fit very well. Hate these foam eartips. I'm losing these earbuds also quite easy with moving around.

Even the smallest one are too big for me ... not even a mm of the ear tip enters the ear canal
Get bigger ears
The tips are awful and their choice of putting mesh only into the tip makes it so much harder to find proper replacements. Lazy design.

I am like you. I bought sony wf xm5, but the noise cancellation is not as good as they say and I regret buying it.
