One of the first tasks after System Center Virtual Machine Manager has been installed is to configure the Network and Storage and that is everything but easy. In this session you will learn how to configure the network and storage for the most common scenarios, including Software Defined Network, Software Defined Storage. You will also learn the different options you have for the Logical Switches, including NVGRE configuration as well as consuming different kinds of storage, including Scale-Out fileservers.
Good video, still trying to figure our the "complete" different between the three types of Logical Networks.
Nice. Can you comment on which Network you would put SCVMM from performance and functionality perspective? Options are: Virtual Switch1 (ExternalNetwork connection type 20 gbps thru lbfo with hyper V on that network) or VirtualSwitch2 (External Network Connection type, 2 gbps thru lbfo with VMs connected)?
Not much explanation... just a walk through at setting up a simple network with too many anecdotes , which is of no use in an enterprise environment. Who does not need vlans?
Shame NIC no longer uploads their full videos in the past 3-4 years.
