That would’ve been stuff of legends to epic proportions having not one, but _TWO_ clears with only a single life remaining. Can’t say Ryu has never done it before, so there’s more than likely a video that exists on his channel containing that excitement, but it def would’ve made for some entertaining stuff… of… legends. I too was thinking the last gap in the last level might not be too wide to jump. I already had it in my head to go test it by playing the level myself - but then you did it yourself and saved me the trouble. :-)
