I actually got a variation of the distorted demon baby glitch the other day. As far as I can tell, it wasn't caused by bad/improperly assigned cc, as I managed to reproduce it with Sims wearing only EA clothes. It seems that either CAS or NRaas MasterController glitched out, as CAS failed to change Sims' clothes on all but the currently selected outfit category when changing a Sim's age and/or gender. So I not only ended up with distorted toddlers, but also elders squished into toddler clothes, a female young adult wearing male teen clothes, etc.
I really have doubts about the 'undocumented' sims 1 glitch... If there were was an undocumented easter egg / glitch with visual assets, those visual assets could be found in the files / datamined. Why wouldn't they have been found? The Cutting Room Floor lists the upside down face assets and nothing found about this other variation.
I remember the Trigger Warning's topic bug all too well on the Sims 2 and 3. I had a teen come home from prom on 3 with their grandfather listed as steady on her relation pannel, since then I avoid proms like the plague, seeing they often take control out of your hands too with who ends up in relations with who. But that was just icing on the bleh cake. And classy Sims 2 corruption being as horrid as usual. Family flags disappeared one day between an adopted sim and their parent... They had a 3 bolt chemistry, probably not the worst thing happening in the neighbourhood in terms of corruption damage, but also the worst morally, even with a hood that was probably corrupted because so many Sims killed each other. Reminds me of how you could use the aging up cheat bug to have a baby float in the air to dance or talk and act like an adult, even down to driving a car, and worse.
This isn't really a glitch I guess but in Sims 3 there's a chance that if you install World Adventures through Origin (some say you need Ambitions too) a new world titled "Adventureland" will be displayed. It is just like Sunset Valley only there are no residents except two Sims named Jack and Sally who are in World Adventures clothing. It's thought to be a test world the developers used (since you need a neighborhood to travel to the three destinations) but EA has never given us an answer as far as I could find. Some people had glitches when using said world. One particularly creepy one was where the grim reaper appeared in their notifications asking "Do you want to go on an adventure?" and caused the game to crash. I recently got the two packs and this appeared on my main menu (I put it in the discord). Because of the stories about crashes I don't want to open it but it's an interesting bug to look into :)

This'll be a bit of a writeup on the Upside Down face and the rumoured hag face. I'll make a 2nd comment with a personal bug. The upside down face is actually an old concept for showing moods from the early versions of the Sims 1, old Sim portraits back then were side facing (early versions showing up to their shoulders) rather than the final's front facing face. Those faces used to be the plumbob of the game so you'd see someone looking sad and know to switch to them. They were around as early as 1998 although used look more painting like. There was a cut pickpocket too originally intended for Vacation who has textures, but he'd assumingly look more like a reskinned burglar and less physically horrifying. Now on the topic of bugs. Here's a good one. Same sex relation *wasn't* going to be a part of the Sims 1, and developement documents for the game even wrote up that Sims would *slap each other* for trying to initate romantic interactions with the same sex. All fortunately not implemented (or taken out) by the time at E3 1999 that two women kissed at a wedding completely unscripted, and made that basically garunteed same sex relations would be in the game, without all the slapping nonsense.

Here's another one: as a 9 or 10 year old with the Mac version in 2001 / 2002 (without expansions, IIRC) I managed to get *controllable ghost sims* on 3 occasions. This is *not* something you're supposed to do in the 1st game, and it's no exaggeration. They were all female sims who died in fires in separate families. The first one was when I started saving the game after she died, then I pulled the power plug because I realized "OH NO" and then my save was corrupted. As such, I evicted them from their house because the house wasn't loading. I moved them into another house, and it worked, but then Grandma wasn't showing up. "Where is she?" I wondered, and she had the "Following" Red Circle with an X in it on her portrait. I clicked, and if the game was paused, she showed up as a ghost. I quickly found that she would vanish instantly if she wasn't doing something, and I'd have to click on her portrait again to get her to show up. But since she'd vanish if she wasn't doing something, I had to pause the game every time, then command her to do something. She helped nicely against a later house fire, since she couldn't catch on fire, and she was firefighting while inside a fire square. ... The second time it happened, eh, I can't tell you all of the details because I don't remember. I at least had Livin' Large installed, though. The third time, it was Betty Newbie who died in a fire. I had Livin' Large and House Party installed, and I was doing the "leave the tutorial on" strategy because their moods wouldn't go down. I accidentally hit the Esc key once at night with the game paused, and Betty re-appeared as a ghost.
I used to have a graphic glitch in the sims 2 where sometimes the sims would stretch around the screen and there'd be weird lines of skin and clothes all over the lot. I used to watch an lp back then with someone who also had it. I haven't seen it in a really long time, but it used to be very annoying.
One day I was playing the sims 4 and the dad had a romantic relationship with his toddler. I couldn't even play the household without ignoring it so I made the mum divorce him and moved him out. It's sad because he was a nice guy and I spent a while making him look nice.
8:21 oh yes... I had that one happen to me, it happened to the babies i had in my game (pre toddler) it made them wear these shoes on the other half of their body and aging them to toddlers crashed the game everytime. I assume it is because babies normally have no clothes and as toddler, children etc get their oufits randomized when they grow up, i assume that these shoes get assigned to the newborn baby.
i honestly dont play with pets in the sims 3 because of their disturbing bugs. for some reason, my pets will sometimes stretch and morph into a human animation while still a pet. it goes away quickly and nothing else happens but it freaks me out so bad
I would also include a glitch that happens in the Sims 2 when all the pets, toddlers, kids and teens start acting like adult sims. All of them speak with the adult man's voice, pets start walking like humans and both kids and toddlers literally float above the ground. I first stumbled upon this glitch when I was a kid and it really freaked me out. I had "Open for business" pack and I was terrified when suddenly lots of distorted animals and kids started coming to my business lot and buying different stuff 😄 Then I found out that they can also have romantic interactions with other adult sims and even woohoo with them o.o I had to finally reinstall the game so it would start working properly. But, gosh, this glitch scared the sh*t out of me😄
That sounds more like corruption! It's common for sims in corrupted neighborhoods to be read by the game as adults, even when they're not. Either way yes it's super creepy.
There is this centaur glitch in the sims 3 where just like the virus doll it laches on to everything and is very hard to remove what made it worse was you didn’t even have to have the centaur cc to get if a sim downloaded a family from the sims store it latched on too you would get it, and the outfit Is only for teens and adults so if a kid or toddler got it they would be glitched out it never happened to me but I watched another youtuber talk about The Sims Lore I believe you should check it out
I had that first glitch (Stuck sim) in 3 and 4. It killed my sim in 3 because I didn't know about ResetSim. On Sims 4 I knew to reset my sim this time, cause I wasn't about to live my life with my wife just standing in the street...staring. Also in Sims 4 early on I had my teenaged daughter have a romance score with her ADULT BROTHER because she joined his conversation during his wedding. Ew.

Update: Definitely MasterController. The glitch went away once I replaced the mod and its modules with fresh copies.
