I'm not a medical student, but of all the comments written here, I found not a single God bless. Let me be the first to say, May God bless you, multiply you and give you a looooong, healthy and prosperous life. Thank you for your selfless deeds. Deeds that are recorded above.

Dear Dr. Adena, You'll love to know that obesity is not caused by dietary fats. There are good fats needed for health and wellness and those fats are fantastic for health. We need to eat loads of healthy fats daily in each meal. What makes people obese are the HIGH GL CARBS and GLUTEN! Fats DON'T make people fat! I'm a nutritional therapist and this is important info to teach to patients. Thanks for your fantastic lessons, by the way. I absolutely love them!

Inflammatory bowel diseases (Crohn's for example) are risk factors because they interfere with the reabsorption of biliary acids which is part of the hepato-enteric cycle. Thus, reducing the solubilizing power of the bile which in relativity is like having too much cholesterol. Hope this helps people "not get crazy" :) Awesome video really. This is how medecine should be explained! At least at first. Its important to have strong basics before going into detail.

Biliary colic is not actually colicky pain but rather it is a severe, continuous crescendo pain with rapid onset. It lasts from 30 mins to a few hours. Usually it's worse in mid evening to early morning and after eating fatty foods (when you eat fats, increased secretion of cholecystokinin so gall bladder contraction to release bile salts for fat emulsification - this contraction causes pain).

@tsantes, ithink the stones actually get bigger and that way wen the cystic duct relaxes d stones dont fall back, that is why u get the constant pain, with irritation of the phrenic nerve.......so dont judge, coz i dont see u making ur own lectures to teach anyone

Very Impressed. I have a significant question that I really need to ask someone with a good sense of knowledge. Should be asking my doctor but Ive already paid too much into the doctor this month for a zit right above my gallbladder that turned into a rapid growing boil. Ive been on antibiotics now for a week and for the lpast two days I have pain in my side and back I really assume is my gallbladder... wondering if the infection influenced it somehow or maybe the gallbladder caused the infection? but that's not the real question I want to do a flush but I am in pain I don't want to cause things to get worse... I also want a new diet to support myself also Im extremely obese... please tell me what to do!

Ummm... the lecturer already described all of this already, and colicky pain comes and goes bud, it's not continuous. That would mean the gallbladder was continuously contracting non-stop. As it relaxes, the pain resides. Not sure how you are trying to say anything different than the video.
