From the an image taken at Dundas Peak in Ontario Canada that shows a mysterious unexplained figure into he background, to the photo of a man hiding in the bushes in a photo taken by a man who disappeared shortly after and even an unidentified man at the assassination of JFK. Here are five mysterious photographs that have some interesting stories behind them and are still unexplained to this day.

Ya the umbrella guy in the JFK assassination..... I can explain..... It's pretty darn warm here in Dallas and it isn't uncommon for some people to use umbrellas as shade.
Also at the time umbrellas were used as a certain means of protest.

I use umbrellas on sunny days because I've already had melanoma and I don't want to get it again.

I'm a long time fan of the show. I was flippin out when the video started because I live very near that section of the Bruce Trail near Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. After watching the first segment I am happy to provide the answer to this mystery. I have possible answers for the other 4, but I would just be speculating, so I will just st8ck with this one. There is actually a very narrow, winding path, made by years and years of kids and hikers descending in that area. It is hard to tell in the photo by the cliff in that area isnt a straight drop, there is a minor grade. The person in the photo is just standing in a spot I myself have stood several times in my childhood.

I’ll admit it’s definitely difficult to find videos on this topic of mysteries incidents/pictures that aren’t mentioned or talked about in other channels. I usually click through about atleast 3 different videos before finding one I hadn’t already watched or one where I haven’t heard of or seen any of the stories or evidence/pictures involved with the topics covered. Personally, I hadn’t heard of any of these incidents besides the JFK one.

5. Is definitely not marks. You can literally see the legs in the closeup. Plus, it stands out way too much to be part of the rock. It doesn’t match the color scheme of the rock at all. And for number 4, an “amazing coincidence” is definitely not a good argument or explanation.
@@pvt.jamesramirez6249 It was either a mark on the rocks, a shadow, garbage that had been thrown off the side of the Mountain, or the sun reflecting on the rocks. I live in Hamilton, and that photo is well known in the city. I know for a fact that no body was found in the area.
Umbrellas were originally only for the sun, rather then the rain. Omg guys chill, having umbrellas for the rain came much later, and many people today still use umbrellas for shade.

It was raining in Dallas earlier that day.
The man opening the umbrella was named Steven Witt. If you google his name you can read the full story as to why he did what he did. It was a signal,.. but not for gunfire. It was a protest of sorts.
'Witt claimed that he purchased the umbrella simply to annoy Kennedy. Decades earlier, Joseph Kennedy, the president’s father, had been a supporter of British Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain. Neville Chamberlain, in turn, had been an appeaser of the Nazi party, once traveling to Hitler’s private retreat to smooth things over with the Fuhrer himself.'
Those who opposed Chamberlain’s work soon began to mock him using a signature accessory of his as their ammunition - his large black umbrella, ever present by his side. Throughout the 1930s and 40s, the black umbrella had been used in satirical cartoons to poke fun at the Prime Minister, as well as in protest. When the Berlin Wall was being constructed, a group of schoolchildren sent a black umbrella, emblazoned with the word “Chamberlain” to the White House.

The only truly creepy one here is the face in the Hawaiian wilds background the missing hiker took. Being an avid lifelong hiker, I stopped doing solo hikes around 2004 when I lived in the Pacific Northwest. I kept coming upon random drifters and hard to start carrying a handgun and a shotgun with me for protection. Nuts to that. I still enjoy hiking, but only in groups now. I can 100% believe it is the young man's killer. There are different types of drifters. There are still train hobos, who operate like a gang. You have your urban street people, largely harmless. You have your hitchhiking youth, often end up in prostitution and likely to be victims. then you have your forest people. Maybe they're cooking meth out there, protecting a pot field, or maybe they're just too dangerous to live around people. many of them think they are animals and are just as violently protective of their "territory." Please, always go hiking with a friend or friends, and no matter where you live, carry bear spray. it repels bears and homicidal maniacs equally well. Or, if you're comfortable with it, carry a gun, leave it visible. It's a great deterrent to people who want to hurt, rape, or rob you.
Agreed. There's almost zero doubt that that's a man in the photo. If I had to wager a bet I'd go with that man for whatever reason had something if not everything to do with his disappearance.

not really "almost zero" doubt... it really looks like a man hiding in the bushes, but given the poor resolution, it could also easily be an animal, a serendipitously-placed piece of trash, or a serendipitous arrangement of plant parts, lighting and shadow.
but morrigan's PSA still rings true. when going out in the wilderness, take due precautions, go with at least one partner (more is always better) and tell your loved ones where/when you're going, so they can contact the authorities if you become unreachable. every minute counts: if he had fallen in a hidden ditch, he could still be rescued by a search party. but if he had fallen unconscious by then, had an infected wound, or got bit by something poisonous, you could see how timing matters.
however, bringing a firearm is not necessarily safer if you anticipate encountering criminals. if they see your gun, they might just shoot first. worse, they might shoot you from cover and you won't even see it coming. i'm not sure if it is better to conceal it either, since you still need to reach it easily enough for it to matter. and if concealed, you'd still have to reach for it without drawing attention. adds too much tension!
something like a homing beacon which you can activate and drop quietly would be best. alternatively, use the record function on your phone inconspicuously, then drop it somewhere for a search party to find. even if you don't record any mention of location, the timestamp, voices, and background noises could help rescuers piece something together.

As soon as you spoke about the incident in Hawaii, I swallowed hard and could not believe what I was watching. Dylan lived in my city before he disappeared. I didn't realize his story was known all over. When I first seen the picture (one of the final pictures he took), I felt so eerie myself. For a while, I was trying to investigate his disappearance myself until it got a little creepy. Man....

The one in Hawaii is so sad and I saw it on the news when the story went out. The family tried so long to find the kid. So far the kid still hasn't been found and I doubt the body will ever be found.

They probably took a bunch of photos but only one had the mystery ... there's a thought.
For photos from before 2000 or so, I'd say because of short film. I think it would be worth noting what type photographs are, whether digital or on physical film, as that might clear just a little bit of speculation for each case. I take 4 to 7 shots of the same thing with my camera, usually with different exposure settings, though I can afford to do this with a digital camera.

Just to shed some light on this. The guy in the picture is a good friend of mine and he did call the police when finding out that Moke was missing. So there is no creepy mountain man, just pure luck that he came across the corner the second Moke took the picture...

Damn, I'm actually from Dundas and this blows my mind to see the image of the apparition on the Peak. I just came across this picture online today and thought it was neat. Number 5 the first one. There's a raised area of ground there someone could easily stand on. Look at the colour image, coming back from the white square someone could climb down & stand there. There's a clump of trees sprouting from the ground which would stop a person from falling. In fact it looks safer than the area where the person is sat on the crumbling precipice.
The Umbrella man did an interview and said the Umbrella was a protest against Neville Chamberlain. Chamberlain frequently carried a black umbrella. believe the reporter that originally broke the story was the one who debunked it years later.

Yeah, either it's a guy taking a dump in the bushes, or he's up to no good. He was obviously spotted by the photographer, he's perfectly centered in the photo and people tend to naturally center the subject right in the middle of the picture.
Even if the 10 second light is a one-in-a-million coincidence, I still think that in itself is a magical (if not tragic) thing.
I've got to stop watching these videos in school because I can't stop thinking about it afterwards
