A Sith Inquisitor, mostly neutral, playthrough of the new Desperate Defiance storyline from the 7.5 update for SWTOR. Video features all cutscenes from the new story update along with some ambient dialogue while progressing the story. Follow the Alliance Commander as he accepts the help of Sa'har Kateen in taking down the Hidden Chain. We travel to Minboosa District on Hutta to steal a shuttle out from under the local Hutt, board the Hidden Chain capital ship, take Darth Nul's holocron, face off against Ri'kan, and destroy Heta Kol's machine.
Personally, I wasn't super impressed with Update 7.5. The lack of voice-acted scenes is bad, Ri'kan's mouth wasn't even moving during the pivotal scenes at the end, and Hutta's new zone felt VERY empty and devoid of life. And we need to move past this dead-end storyline with Malgus's 8th return and Shae Vizla just screwing with us. Broadsword, if you're listening, drop this storyline ASAP and MOVE ON.

The thing that makes me mad as a player is we waited months for the main quest story to continue you... we get this patch and its less than 30mins of story content and now again left on a cliff hanger... it feels like they are doing the patches as "star wars episodes" but the wait between is crazy long

ya just played it and I was thinking wtf am I, the destroyer of the emperor, leader of the once great alliance and all that and Im struggling with this mf? Seriously? Like the narratives are being broken just to meet the quota of boss fights smh
Wish they woulda had more class storylines, the game ever since they merged them all has been a real bummer
Yeah I had an idea that during the fallen empire DLC. that different classes would be shifted to different roles except the force users having the same gameplay. Like the smuggler/agent would be doing infiltration content, and leave troopers/hunters being heavy hitters but then again this type of content would take ages and would have to at least make sense considering you become a commander and get your daily dose of carbonite poisoning. Maybe have different companions rescue you?

Am i the only one who hates that they changed those dialogue scenes so the own character doesnt speak anymore? Feels like they dont wanna spend money on more lines for the voice actors than necessary.

Yeah they were originally fine for just talking to your specialist crew but implementing it for a DLC? now that is just sad considering the price you pay to play it.
Is your character Neutral?
I'm pretty sure he's Dark V because he was around back when every little quest and crafting mission gave points based on your pre-selected alignment, but he's fairly neutral in the recent storylines. I generally make decisions based on what's best for the character's head-cannon (in this case essentially striving to build an Empire all his own) rather than aim for balance or light or dark.
Why tf would Mandalorians, out of all people, want to meddle with the force? Mandalorians both loathe and respect Jedi, this story-line is starting to make less and less sense the more I hear of it!

Hopefully 'next' expansion they let you choose between her brother or her.
