Here is a tip on your soap cutter you used which many people don't know. When it comes time to change the wire, use 30lb fishing line and make sure its tight. Much cheaper, lasts forever and won't break. It will even cut a slab of melt & pour and glycerin soap with no scarring. The reason people advertise that their soap cutter will not cut melt and pour is because the wire they use has ridges (even though you can't see or feel it) which cause friction and that is what breaks your wire. Fishing line has no friction and cuts smoother. I've been making soap cutters for several years now for cutting slabs. I have videos showing how easy it is to cut hard melt&pour. Mine are easy to adjust also but not this easy so I'm commending the maker of it. In my eyes, she is partly using my idea in using the notches and took it a step farther. It only has one flaw and that is the wire that is being used only because it can't cut a slab of melt & pour or glycerin soap without scarring or breaking. Oh yeah, spray some natural carnuba wax on that and you won't need that slider thingy. I usually wait about 5 days on purpose and have it nice and hard so it doesn't make a little soapy skid mark on my cutter. Very little cleanup if any at all.
“Certified” soaper? I make soap also 2-3 years, learned from these online videos, didn’t know there was certification as you say? Look for recipes, buy books and I also pour my scent in. Scent wears out over time. Some lovely batches are with butters and no scents, the butters scent the soap!

I always wonder, when seeing fragrances poured directly into soap batter from a bottle ... how do you know how much was used??? Was that a safe amount? Just guessing? I know what I'd do but someone new to soaping might see this and assume it's OK to just pour whatever amount from that bottle.
My recipe needs over 8oz the bottle is 8oz. I estimate with each pour and split it pretty much evenly. I think when you’ve made 1000s of soap you get a good idea on how much you need :)
The first thing I thought of when you pulled it out of the mold was Christmas ribbon candy 😂❤
This soap is so fun and vibrant. The colors are perfect for the season. Love it!! ❤️🐝
Thank you so much ☺️
You’re most welcome. 🥰

Hi, I am a subscriber of this channel. And a certified soaper. Plz share your formulation - which oils for you take & their respective percentages.

I really enjoy your videos!!
Thank you so much. I appreciate you being here 🥰
Beautiful soap! Question, since you made a large batch, how do you prevent it from setting while you are working on the layers?
I don’t over mix in the beginning and I don’t add the fragrance in all at once. I add it per layer. :)
Pls at what temperature was the lye solution because I noticed the mixture didn’t congeal each time you fetch from it.
I love the bar cutter! The etsy link doesn't work :(
They are out of business :(
What is the scent?
It’s called Comfort & Joy.
@OpheliasSoapery Ok, I thought that was the name of the soap!
The names of my soaps are usually the scent name. Unless it’s something crazy I may change it 😂🥰
@@OpheliasSoapery Ok!
