Which version of the lightbar did you review? As Xiaomi released a new version in 2022 that was improved over the old version.

I didn't have such a great experience until I returned the item - I guess they repaired it because it didn't look like a new box. It came back with scratches and manual was in Chinese. So, Thanks for the video!!!

Recently got mine and it keeps turning off. Connecting to the computer, to a power bank, after a few minutes, it shuts itself off. Any ideas?
I’ve never had that problem before. Try connecting it directly to a USB charger. I have mine connected to a power strip that has USB Type-A ports built in
@@LOUPED I solved the issue. I was using a different cable and it kept turning off. Used the supplied cable that came with it and it worked.

@@LOUPED I know, right. Knowing I've worked retail in the electronic industry in the past knowing how every cable, charging block, or device can only accept a certain amount of power to charge. If you use something higher or lower, it won't accept unless it's made to capable handle the consumption. But I'm glad it's working properly now lol

Sorry to hear that! It's either a hit-or-miss with these light bars. I've had mine for a year now with no problems but I've heard of people receiving brand new lights that are defective
you have your screen set up too high. The highest part of the screen should be level with your eyes. Because of this, the light is also shining into your face when it shouldn't (for example in minute 0:38)
Thank you for the tip. I think the monitor is on the perfect position since I don’t have any discomfort but I’ll lower it a little bit how you suggest and see if I find any difference. I did point the light towards me on purpose for the video though, it’s usually not illuminating my face 😅
For people who want to get this that use an LG C2 42 inch, don't. The idiotic design of the mount making this not useable with many monitors that have a thicker back.

You can put a piece of paper between the mount and monitor to act as a wedge for bigger backs
