Know those roads well and easy to catch a wing mirror on the rocky bits!!! Not being able to sing has never stopped me.......

This Vlog makes me chuckle every time I watch it. We did this approach a couple of times in our Moho, and the combination of rocks, walls and other drivers travelling at speed on tiny roads is enough to make the most experienced driver question his abilities. To hear you cussing on the approach route Bob, with your experience brings it all back. There is a far easier route we found, why on earth the CMC sat nave doesn’t divert you to that route, I’ve got no idea. Tony and Julie

I'm sure I speak for most of chat in thanking Jenny for reminding Bob of his singing abilities and stopping a rendition of Men of Harlech.

Thanks for the update, tried a few times to get into Min Y Don campsite via the CMC, but either didnt have full availability for our intended stay or cost......including x3 dogs! The drive there didnt look particularly relaxed either 😂. We are off to Inverness & Skye/Mull next week for 3.5 weeks. Looking forward to getting away! Have an awesome time in Ireland, look forward to the updates, we hope to do N. Ireland in March next year. Safe travels

Hi Bob & Jenny sorry i got behind on videos, my Mother was rushed into Scarbro hospital and diagnosed with advanced cancer all over her body, tests would be too invasive to find the source, no one had no idea she is very stubborn and even had no pain killers in her home.

Hi guys, Great video showing some lovely scenery, Wales has a lot to offer in that respect.
With respect to Bob's abilities to sing his version of Men of Harlech , brings back memories of when I was the only English boy attending a North Wales school, and having to learn the language 😀 and attempting to sing the proper version!!!
You can always go for a bike ride and sing your heart out without criticism being levied to you.
Keep the videos coming you always show interesting places whilst on your adventures. Good luck safe travels..
Look forward to the ireland adventure, who knows you may encounter the wee man's in green suits and hats...
    Cheers Dave

Another great video Bob but if you think those roads are tight just wait until you get over here in Northern Ireland & when you cross the border into Ireland it get's even worse! 😉Only joking with your expert driving you'll have no problem & Jenny need not worry about the ferry crossing to Larne it's only 2 1/2 hours & in September the crossing should be calm, fingers crossed! 😉🤢

Great video Bob - it is quicker with a M/home or caravan to carry on the main road at Maentwrog and to go to Penrhyn and come back across the bridge - nice and wide for the wider units as that road is tight at the best of times

Morning Bob, Jenny and Poppy. Thank you for putting the details of where you are leaving. If it is not too tricky are you able to do that each time? We love hearing your review of the place you are leaving but sometimes we can’t figure out where it is. We know that if we watched them in sequence we would know….but we watch them randomly and repeatedly so we don’t often know. Thanks again. The Bakers ❤️🇦🇺

Swift don’t give any thought on type or length of fixing screws, they put a shaving mirror in our two year old elegance with small screws it’s now in the garage.
Spend first hour on site putting it together then another hour on our return. It will be sorted next year as new van is on order shame as it’s a good layout.

It's the same with many manufacturers, all trying to reduce every possible thing in weight to get under this crazy 3500kg limit.

I'm sad to say this but £42.00 + woofer a night? That alone would count me out. Damn shame but far too expensive. This is too regimented for me but that's a personal thing I guess.
Thank you for the review. You three are lovely but... not enjoyed this one, the place!

  • @heatherjones1275

I’m very disappointed with this video. You have shown nothing of Harlech - there is a lot more than a castle! The beach is one of the best in Wales, but you chose not to show it. The railway station is a five minute walk from the site. From here you can travel on the picturesque Cambrian line to Barmouth and over the Mawddach Bridge and along the beautiful Mawddach estuary to Machynlleth, Aberystwyth and beyond and in the other direction to Porthmadog and Pwllheli. You only mention the ‘basic’ shop, but there are also two hotels in lower Harlech and a mobile chip van on a Friday all within a five minute walk. If you venture up the hill to the castle there are excellent restaurants, a high class grocer with deli and craft and antique shops. The views and walks from there are amazing I just wish I could add some photos!

    • @BobEarnshawMoHo
      @BobEarnshawMoHo  2 года назад +2

We did go into Harlech in a previous video, sorry you are disappointed, but we normally only talk about the campsite on an 'Arriving At' video anyway! We did go to the beach in the next video and Poppy had a whale of a time. We also went to Crricieth, though it did rain, a lot! Also we were only there for three nights, so it's a bit difficult to do everything you mentioned. We're not Trip Advisor, just recording what we do!
