that is a sweet little flute, but i just wanna announce, i got my first flute, had it for 2 days, high spirits condor bass in d minor, Spanish cedar, i have wanted a flute for years, you are my first one :) high spirits, thanks, and thank you sir Odell Borg, love the flute a lot.

Do these wetout less easily than the ones with a bird on them?
I have the older model in G and it sounds differently within a minute or 2 playing. It seems to wetout way to quickly.
What could be the reason for this? Another flute I have does not have this problem.

The difference between the Traditional style with fetish (bird/totem) and the Spirit style with the affixed flat plate is the size of the air passage they cover; on the Traditional there is a longer space from mouthpiece to fipple (sound hole) at about 3.5 inches, and on Spirit it is only 1 inch. It depends on the player and the local environment (mainly, humidity) for how fast moisture buildup may occur.
