Same. Not even my neighbours or in-law family said or did anything when my ex would talk to me and my son like that in front of them. One of his first cousins figured she wanted my husband so she let him know and they were cheating on me for years. Their mothers are sisters and are ok with them and their relationship, for real. Needless to say I ended the marriage when I learned of the cheating and have cut the ex and his whole sick and twisted family out of my life.

No one ever stood up for me when I was verbally or physically abused- there were times that his friends were present. I had already been taken away from my family and alienated from my friends. Thank goodness that part of my life is over. It makes me relieved to see that things have changed for women today!!! BTW, I've stood up for young women being abused by their boyfriend/husband a few times in public, even with my PTSD!

Thank you for doing this video!!! I know this is 3 years old but it popped up on my phone and I just have to say those people are heros!!! I went through emotional abuse for 14 years before I woke up and realized I didn't deserve it!! It made me depressed you basically think your no good!! You believe what the abuser says about you!! After a while it makes you have no laughter no emotions except scared and sad all the time!! When I finally divorced my husband and got away from him I became strong!! I never knew I had that kind of strength in me and when I met a guy the next year it took me a long time to believe him when he would call me beautiful because I was always put down by my husband!!! Please if a woman reads this know that you don't deserve this kind of abuse!!! Even if you think it's just words and he's not physically abusing you. It's not ok!!! It will destroy you inside!! It's not worth it!!! I wish I had left sooner than I did!! Be brave!! All guys are not like that!!! I promise!!! God bless you all!!!🙏 🙏 I hope this helps someone out there!!

Emotional/mental verbal abuse is worse than physical abuse... Once you have undergone this horrific treatment over and over for days weeks years your self esteem gradually declines! without self esteem even the simplest things like waking up in the morning is difficult. you become withdrawn from the world.... Physical abuse heals quicker bruises go away in time.... See, I know this because I was a victim of both for years... I am happy to see people intervening it never happened with me. Many People who are abusive like to pick public places to abuse their victims it gives them a greater feeling of power... Good for those who helped and thank you.

Thank you to everyone who intervened to help the young lady, I would do the same, because when I was being beaten in public and silently asked for help no one would and I don't blame them, they feared for their own safety but without those heroes where would that young lady have possibly ended up

All forms of abuse are horrific, but mental and emotional abuse can last for a life time. Word's either negative or postive holds a lot of POWER!!!!!!
No one is perfect.....but we can all encourage one another to make a effort to uplift and not destroy.!!!!!!

I have a question, because I learn English, but no one taught me how to proper talk about people whose colour skin is opposite to white. So I feel that 'black' may be insulting, and I don't want to insult anyone. Could anyone help me with this, please?

I have to say this hits home....i was physically abused for a year by my ex boyfriend..he used to beat me every day...when i tried to leave he threatened to shoot me..these were conversations on a daily. The video is very accurate. Edit: The only reason i got out the relationship is that my best friend found out about it and kept him away from me. He got put in juvie multiple times and house arrest so it was scary cause he knows where i live but im safer knowing the cops have him on house arrest. My step dad and mom watched him beat me......they did nothing for a whole year. It hurts but i still have my dad
