O My.....move chips - move camera - move chips - move camera - etc. that is what makes your video's extra special, you take so much time out for the different angles.....great stuff Nigel, much appreciated! 💖👍😊💖
Nigel, you need to have a buddy ride along and help you with all that shoveling. That’s quite a bit of work for 1 guy. I’ve got a hyper active buddy that helps me with my projects. He talks allot and drinks allot of my beer. But he is excellent help.👍
Awesome truck! There's just something inherently fun about driving an old vehicle around, I've been daily driving my 1969 Plymouth Satellite station wagon this summer and it's a blast! Makes even the most mundane chores interesting and its always fun to hear stories from strangers who remember seeing them back in the day or knew someone that had one, you don't get to experience stuff like that if you drive a Camry haha
Once again an awesome video with a smiling happy Nigel inside the beautiful red truck. Hard work, hot weather but you’re always happy. It brightens my day just as all your videos do ! You’re really un amazing guy ! ! !
That looked like great exercise! A beautiful day to boot! I said "Hey! The tailgate opened!" Out loud when it popped open... Hopefully I'm not the only one LOL Well done Nigel, those gardens will benefit so many people! :)
Thanks Sam, I am enjoying your latest video too, I'm about half way through! A cool swim for sure! I know the feeling about having one too many trees, it's almost a full time job for me, keeps me busy and keeps me at home!
Trick i learned from another gardener is when you have multiple drops use multiple tarps and you can pull each smaller load off a lot easier then a large load and risk ripping your tarp. P.S. everyone needs an old work truck like that.
Cool video ! Yeah that's not easy work in this heat, I think you can almost just breath and sweat. That was funny, you were having troubles dropping the tail gate but after driving away it fell down 😄👍
I'm tired just watching you, or maybe the impromptu mowing of the yard today with no clouds is finally getting to me! The community garden is looking good! And I thought I was doing good with my SUV I bought 10 years ago to bring back my part of my dad's estate. Don't know if I'll still have it in 13 years to get rebuilt!
@@TheBonsaiZone I nearly missed it, but I can say it was definitely an interesting race. Not necessary the results I hoped for, but interesting for sure!
Really, that's awesome, they are such a rare truck now! I hope the restoration goes well. I'm missing straps for the auxiliary fuel tank, I'm hoping to find some one of these days!
+Nigel Saunders, The Bonsai Zone Only thing missing in this video, is a mustache! 70's style! Wish there was a wood chip place near me where I could chip some woodchips!
Oh Nigel be careful showing so much of your neighbourhood, there's some strange ppl out there! It's not difficult at all to find someone's exact address. Nice video tho! Enjoying seeing the hot weather as we freeze here in southern Australia (well, you guys would probably say it's warm 😅)
Hi Nigel, as much as I like watching your channel there seems to be a few things that are blazingly obvious to me that perhaps you have overlooked. First let's bring up that you just had your 58th birthday and you have a teenage son, next I'd like to point out you have a crew cab truck for use at the community garden and there's only you in the truck and only you filling the truck... Are you seeing what I'm seeing......? I think you could use your people skills to your advantage while still offering physical resources to build community. Just my 2 cents....

Bonsai and Bumpsides. 2 of my passions also. Great to see the old truck doing it's job.
Thanks Scott, I've gotta keep it going for another 48 years!
This was like watching Jay Leno’s garage meets Nigel Saunders. Great video
Glad you enjoyed it!
Living the dream Nigel. You’re an inspiration.
Thanks, I think when I get the bill for fixing the box, it will be my nightmare! Hopefully not!
Nigel Saunders, The Bonsai Zone it’s hard to tell those two things apart these days!
Beautiful truck Nigel, it has a great sound and I enjoyed seeing it in action. I’m sure it’s a blast to drive on the open road.
Glad you enjoyed it, it's a bit of a hot rod on the road, or maybe it's just the driver!
I missed watching your videos as I was very busy over the past year. Glad I’ve found time to visit with you again Nigel. God bless you.
Thanks Resse, I hope all is well and life is good!
So glad to see the truck in use.
Me too, I hate having it just sit around doing nothing!
Love your hairstyle, Nigel ! Love the truck too.
Thanks Imelda, it's good to finally get a summer cut!
now THAT is a truck. Love that red color.
Thanks Nathan, I like the red too!
Brilliant to watch you drive the truck off-road a little. Very cool.
It was fun bouncing around!
Nigel Saunders, The Bonsai Zone It definitely looked fun!
Always nice to see an old truck rollin".
Thanks Durand, I love driving it, any excuse to get it out, even if it means hard work!

Wood chips load a lot faster and easier with a pitchfork or flat shovel. Saves a lot of energy and time.
Great old truck by the way.
Thanks for the tip Rodney! I think we have one around, but we can access the tools yet until things are safer.
I always use a snowshovel when moving woodchips around :-D
That truck is trolling Nigel! Finally opening its tailgate for the camera while he's looking away lol
Funny Gabriel!

Thanks Bettina, I'm just leaving for the orchard to do more work today! Fun stuff!
Nigel Saunders, The Bonsai Zone
Respect 😂👍

It was fun making the video, it turned an afternoon of work into something more creative!
Great vid mate. Thanks for taking us for a drive in the old Ford 😀
Thanks Sam, I am enjoying your latest video too, I'm about half way through! A cool swim for sure! I know the feeling about having one too many trees, it's almost a full time job for me, keeps me busy and keeps me at home!
Hi mate. Yeh can be a good thing to be kept busy. Was fresh for sure. Probably like you swimming in summer there 😉😉
Just another day in the Bonsai Zone! Thanks for another great video Nigel!
Amazing truck!!
That's a great F250 I use to have one.
They are a tough truck, I like the simplicity of it too!
Thats a really cool car
Wow ! Dada, your car is looking fantastic. When I grew up I would like to have a car like that. Not a brand new one.
You would like an old school classic, so much more simple that the modern ones!
Trick i learned from another gardener is when you have multiple drops use multiple tarps and you can pull each smaller load off a lot easier then a large load and risk ripping your tarp. P.S. everyone needs an old work truck like that.
love that beast of a truck! and glad to see you have liberated your noggin in this heat!
Cool video ! Yeah that's not easy work in this heat, I think you can almost just breath and sweat. That was funny, you were having troubles dropping the tail gate but after driving away it fell down 😄👍
Thanks J, I'll have to get that box all all strengthened up and get the tail gate patched!
Hey Nigel the Ferrari shirt matches the old classic Fords Red!! love the fuzzy dash true classic 👌
Thanks Glen, I'm putting both the truck and me to some hard work!
Nice to see the old truck in use. Crocs are great for gardening in i have some without holes so the soil doesnt get inside!
Thanks Margaret, Croc on!
You probably wish that truckbed was smaller after all that shoveling. Truck is looking really good now Nigel!
I was glad it is a short bed that's for sure!
Sweet truck
Thanks Andrew, it's so fun to drive!
Nigel, looks like you caught the sun on your face during the afternoon's work there! What a great noise from your Ford pickup 6-litre engine 😊
I should have a big hat!
Nice truck sir you're very hardworking personality sir good and keep it up
Awesome crew cab bump! I got a 71 longbed 302 3 speed on the floor
Wanna sell it
Nigel, I really like your haircut ! It fits you so well ! hehe :) No severe pruning there ^^
Thanks! 😃
Wow Nigel, That seemed like quite a bit of work. You Probably could have used some help.

You have to have future projects to dream about, it keeps you loving life!
It's great to see the truck getting some work done in the orchard. Also, nice t-shirt by the way 🏁
Thanks Lucas, I haven't seen the first F1 race yet, but I'll try to soon!
@@TheBonsaiZone I nearly missed it, but I can say it was definitely an interesting race. Not necessary the results I hoped for, but interesting for sure!
You are pretty smooth shifting gears.
All those days at Mosport and Shanonville!
Love your truck I’m working on a 70 crewcab just like yours! Great videos as always!
Really, that's awesome, they are such a rare truck now! I hope the restoration goes well. I'm missing straps for the auxiliary fuel tank, I'm hoping to find some one of these days!
Am I the only one afraid that the steering wheel will break while driving. ^^ Has some nasty cracks on both sides. Love the truck.
It's all steel beneath the cracked plastic, it does look scary, but it's really solid!
@@TheBonsaiZone Ah! Thanks!
Beautiful truck I would swap for my car.
Thanks, I just ordered a bunch of stuff for the truck, door seals, a new fuel tank and a bunch of little things to make it a bit better!
+Nigel Saunders, The Bonsai Zone Only thing missing in this video, is a mustache! 70's style! Wish there was a wood chip place near me where I could chip some woodchips!
Wow, Nigel, you are one hard-working man! I’m exhausted just watching your video. Love the haircut (but I think they missed a spot). Ha ha
Thanks Dori, I should only pay half price for the haircut!
😊

@@TheBonsaiZone well, happy to have no bushfires...looking forward to Spring blossoms! 🌸

Thanks Sunit!!!!
I HAVE NEVER BEEN SO EARLY
Well thanks for being early!
Ladies and Gentlemen, he’s back live in the “The Pickup Zone” 🙂
And loving it!
Where is that? Can't find affordable woodchips in Ontario it is annoying.

Where are the aviator glasses
I'm not sure if they are around anymore, with three kids who knows where they are!
Try Wilt Pruf from wiltpruf.com for the dry ceders and other plants in the hot weather. Suppose to be organic and help in both winter and summer.
Would you sell the truck

Nice Foist, awesome!
