A little warning. There are of course TV's out there that you simply can't get it to program to. In my experience, I've found RCA's to be notorious for this.
Ironically I've been trying to setup this remote with an RCA TV and it's not working lol.

Sometimes the method shown will not work and you can try the codes that Comcast supplies for the TV Brand. I have a Sony and used code: 10000 and it works great on/off , changes channels, and volume adjust works.

K literally every step worked fine apart from the last one where you turn it back on so I just kept doing it thinking I was doing something wrong I did it so many times I now kno it of by heart and then I got annoyed and just sat there doing it over and over and then it just randomly worked 👍
That's not showing me the Motorola remote control so my bus is all located differently that's why my TV I can't get nothing to work cuz you guys want so many kind no more I have and it's not turning my TV on at all

All my channels are in the wrong aspect ratio, Its not the TV its the Huawei DC730 box, how would one change that in the box itself? Is there a button combo to get to the settings of the box?

Does this not work for newer tvs? I have an RCA, 2016 model, but bought today.. im assuming 2016 model because when i turn the tv off/on the date changes back to 2016 when i had it changed to 2019
What if everything is working on TV, But channel 3 is just Black screen???

Try pushing the down channel instead of the up channel when you program it.
Don't push it so fast you have to be really slow
parkerbohnn Thanks for the tip, the down channel worked, the up channel didn’t. It’s a remote from RadioShack, but different than the one they show in this video. But I hit the P button, and it did the same thing they told us to do in the video above. Thanks again!
Slim Chain had to press channel up 201 times. Finally tv went off.

I mean when you program a remote control some of my have TV source code for is model number and the point that I'm trying to make is why don't they just make it simple where it's one TV for all TVs but the Time Warner would I have to ensure the TV code or is just by automation where I just press the gas it says the on-off key for 5 seconds whatever it is so it's make a simplified why don't they do this do what I could simple
