Bangkok an ever changing city with new modernity but keeps the same feels and culture! Something new popping up year after year. Street food to rooftop dining! Metro to Boat transportation! Hopefully with the expansion of the metro more places will develop their own personal uniqueness that adds to Bangkok! Exciting to see your tour around other neighboring countries and glad to see you back in the city of angels!

If it’s a Dilapidated Area I rather it be wiped out and have some lively modern construction than to be a cesspool of what it is! Bangkok needs Modernization in many terms but not to the point it wipes out its culture which is highly unlikely!
@@Iceyfire12 Who are you to judge what's dilapidated. especially when it comes to people's homes? I've spent much of life working in south east Asia and you'll find more joy and happiness in areas you describe as a cess pool than any rooftop dining restaurant. Gentrifying areas destroys culture.

“I’d definitely live here” is an understatement. I am back in Thailand in January and my mission is to find somewhere to live for the winter months starting November 2023 which is when I retire. Cannot wait! Safe journey folks

I would recommend to find the city with international airport or just the airport for easier travel and stay there for a few days or weeks. Thailand has 38 airports all together and 7 of them are international. All of those cities with international airports also has good privately owned hospitals.

The fruit "masaew ' you eat in the taxi is fresh from the tree- non toxic. You call it " taew " in English.It's very sour like star fruit or star apple. We usually preserve in salty water before eating,but you can also eat it fresh.

I checked the information and found that this fruit is called「 Averrhoa bilimbi」， a close relative of carambola. The Thai pronunciation is Tailing Pling. It tastes very sour, but it is rich in vitamin C and has cosmetic effects😊

That fruit is one of cucumber type on Thai: ตะลิงปลิง. We can eat it fresh or cook it for spicy soup (ต้มยำ). Sometimes women who are pregnant eat that for morning sickness.

It can also be eaten raw but we usually dip with little salt or pickled with vinegar.

My fiance and I spent seven days in Bangkok before coming to Chiang Mai. There were definitely aspects we enjoyed about Bangkok, but we're enjoying the slower pace of Chiang Mai. 😅

Yes, Bangkok looks like and awesome place as does Chiang Mai, I think I could live in either place and then I think about Koh Samui and want to live there too, I'm really torn. I was thinking stay in Samui and travel and spend time in Bangkok and Chiang Mai :3
