Right after I filled up with e85 for an e20 mix for the first time I did a couple of hard brakes at the next few stop signs and stop lights just to swirl everything around in the tank 👌
So if you wanted to use an E20 blend, how would you go about calculating the remaining ethanol content in your fuel tank when you go to a gas station to refill again, after filling up on the E20 mix previously?
The calculator I have in the links... it has The first fill calculator and under that is the subsequent fill up calculator you enter your parameters and it gives you the mix
Thanks for uploading! I'm waiting on that same 85 tester kit to check the BP right by my house before I flash over. Did you change your oil grade by any chance? Wondering if I should go a little thicker before I run E.
Hi, great video. I'm on ethanol mix as well. MHD E20 map and running 25% mix I THINK. I'm in Sweden and there are no domestic E85 test kits, importing costs an arm and a leg, would you mind telling me how much water ml/ounce (I'll convert) vs how much E85 the test tube holds so I can make my own?
@@BOO5Tchannel Couldn't you please use a measuring cup? Fill to the O2 line, measure what comes out and the then fill to to the top line and subtract that number with the O2 line number? I would be very grateful. Br
Hey so I know you don’t have an n20 but for your car, in order to run the e30 tune, did you have to upgrade any fueling in the car or will just the tune suffice, also once you fill up with e30 and say you are down to half a tank, how would I know what proportion of pump gas and e85 to put in to get a full tank of e30 again? Thanks!
For e30 no I did not, but that is for n55 and not sure about n20 however I think e20 is safer. If you watch the video that I made on ethanol it gives you the calculator and you can do all your calculations from the first tank to the refill. Don’t cut any corners on this make sure you study that video or forums so you don’t have issues
@@BOO5Tchannel okay so that being said, how important do you think it is to have an ethanol sensor? Do you think it’s sufficient/safe to solely go off of calculation?
Thank you for watching, it’s actually information that is a bit difficult to find at times so I do not think it’s for idiots lol. Plus you guys are awesome!
No you don’t if you have a tune for it on the map your running , both stage 1 and 2 have E30 maps available, it’s only for stage 2+ E40 50 and full E85 that you need a hpfp for it.
Fredolf Scott it’s VRSF catless with maybe 400-500 miles on it... it’s clear by the look of it that it’s like new. Email forcedinductionstudios@gmail.com and I’ll share pricing.

Awesome! I use 5-40 oil currently. Thanks for the comment
@@BOO5Tchannel That's what I was planning on changing over to. Thanks man!
hey man i saw your shirt and i live in durham NC haha
Heck yea
Did you put NGK plugs inside? what gap?
Yes, I think it was .22

Forced Induction Studios alright thank you so much!!
12.54 at 93 mph, you let off before you got to the 1/4 lol, that’s impressive af
Yea she was fun had some good times in her
Hey I live nearby Matthew’s I was wondering where the e85 pump is ?
Hey man unfortunately it’s at Sheetz in Troutman
@@BOO5Tchannel yeah isn’t that flex fuel ?
@@EmJay704 it has always been 75-87% for me never lower
So when using the calculator, if I pull into the gas station with 10 miles of range left
what percentage of fuel remaining should I mark it as? 5%?
That would be fine it’s fairly insignificant to matter, if it’s the first time but after use the second calculator

@@thecockpitperspective6364 no that’s why I test my ethanol content manually, but a sensor is nice too. On my 2JZ car I have a ethanol analyzer

Thanks!
Is always better to run a e30 mix when your tank has the “Fuel reserve “ light come up?
No you can mix e30 anytime just use the 2nd formula that I linked called subsequent fill ups

I still don’t understand how much E85 I have to add if I have 1/4 of a tank of 93 pump gas?
Use the calculator that question is not to be guessed and needs to be accurate. I linked the calculator
What's required for using e30?
Check out my E30 video! It explains everything. Thanks for the sub!
Dont you need a better fuel pump to handle E30? I've been wanting to test that tune on my N20 F30
No sir not 30. But do your research on n20 I am N55
@N20B20A Jeremy I ran E30 with the BM3 stage 2 E30 map with stock fuel system and hooolyyy its another different car
