My Mum had this exact washing machine when I was a child 😊 Prewash if selected on keyplate, mainwash, 2 rinses, short spin followed by 2 more rinses then the final spin..(quite noisy)The ticking and clicking of the program. I'd sit fascinated watching it through its cycle... Thanks for the childhood memory 👍
What a lovely machine. Perfect condition. When I was a youngster at school our head mistress bought one of these. She loved it. Everyone knew I loved washing machines!! 😂 thanks for sharing and bringing great memories back to me
Thank you. It would have done, it uses the same Keyplates I believe. The machine on the right that you cannot see is actually a KM 3008 so watch this space .....
Brilliant video Al. It’s so difficult to choose which of the Keymatics is my favourite, but I think the multicoloured lights on this give it the edge for me 😍
I know a guy this still got one of these although it’s slightly newer but has those mad cards 💳 I was amazed by it in 2023 although it’s a bit rusty he’s and old guy and said when moved to town someone give him it in the 80s and all he’s had to get is a new door seal and brushes a couple of times. It’s sounds so loud and not smooth lol but it does the job as he says 👍🏻🤣 I remember the hoovers looking like this when I was kid but they had a knob lol (i loved the machines and everyone knew it) still love seeing old electronics especially washing machines and stereos makes me feel happy and I am 40
Very nice video and washing machine, also a very cool system with those cards, but I'd imagine that those cards could go missing after a few decades despite the storage compartment, also happy new year!
