- Showing you how easy it is to install this thermostat. Really easy to do. From the start of install to completion it took about 15 minuets. I recommend this T stat.
I just installed this watching your video. the house is new and I didn’t download the app yet because there is no WiFi there is power but it’s not cooling only the fan is working
Thx for the video! Installing one this weekend.
Did you get to install it yet. If so how did it go?
Yes installed it today. Super easy
@@ambernecho Very cool I have had no issues with mine at all. thank you so much for watching and commenting
I love the battery operated part but this thermostat keeps losing the WiFi connection which was never a problem with my Nest and when it is connected, the app sometimes isn’t reflecting what the actual thermostat is reading / doing! The “smart” capabilities are shaky at best. Hoping Sensi improves it.
Nice review. I have an old smart sensi thermostat. I ordered a replacement (same model) from amazon. How do I install the new one and uninstall the old?
Nice vid. I have an orange wire (total 6 wires) going into an "O" socket on my PRO T721 current thermostat (just like yours). Were should I connect this wire on the Sensi? O/B socket, maybe? I have a heat pump. Thanks.
On my sensi stat the O/B is the same terminal. You will need to land the orange wire on that terminal. Make sure you set up for heat pump operation in the initial set up on the stat. The app will walk you through all that.
And thanks for the comment and the veiw
I just purchase this item and my wire at my home , is only showing 4 wires: Green, red, yellow and white. I do not have the fifth wire Blue. This unit is asking for a C wire ( Common Wire). In my box I have a loose white wire. Question, how do I continue with set? Thank You for your time and service.
you are going to have to have a c wire adapter. Or pull a new 5 conductor wire from your indoor unit to your t stat

Hi. You helped me before and now I have another issue with the Sensi Touch. As the cold weather set in I switched to Heat on the control. Every time I raise the temp past room temp the unit will cut off, shut itself down and restart but it will never start the heating cycle. I reinstalled back the basic standard PRO T21 and the heating worked fine. Did I installed/programmed the Sensi Touch wrong? Please advice. Thanks.
Might be something wrong with your unit and not the thermostat.
I think I fixed it. I connected the O wire to the O terminal on the new "smart" thermostat as you suggested. While doing the programming on the Emerson Smart Touch app, instead of entering the "O" terminal as a connected terminal, I entered an "OB" terminal as connected even though there is no such thing on the new thermostat. Now it warms and cools as requested. I hope others having the same issue understand and helps them if they are having my same issue. Oh, my entire home HVAC unit is brand new installed in December 2023. Thanks again.
Hi there, quick question. Does the sensi make a clicking sound when it turns on and off?
Probably, because thermostats Have relays inside that close when there is a call for cooling or heat. that is what is making the clicking sound.
So it’s normal? Thanks for the quick reply .@@pawpawdiditagain2654
It is normal. Your welcome
Why did you choose electric during the setup if it’s a gas furnace and not a heat pump? Or is it for strip heat?
It is strip heat. Sorry I did not specify in the vid. Thanks for the comment.
@@pawpawdiditagain2654 thanks. Good to know. Was thinking about getting one these for a customer and don’t really know anything about them.
