I won’t start buying again until upper deck and EA lose exclusive rights to the NHL. The cards are watered down garbage. The games are watered down garbage. I come here for zeeree’s reactions lol.

I'm sorry Zeeree. What a bummer. I actually moved away from hockey cards because of the being 2-3 years behind and the cards holding zero value other than 3-4 players. It's probably different in Canada but I feel like FWAs and YGs are the only cards that have value.
@@ozsportscardcollector2.512 I've been having a blast with Baseball cards. It took me a bit to learn but the value is there. I just opened a Jumbo box and got my money back, kept cards that I wanted and put a stack of to the side to grade and put a stack off to the side in a backup Rookie box.
I think I'll buy a couple boxes looking for Bedards YG. That looks to be the hit to go for.

I simply can't afford to collect trading cards, so I get my fix from watching these videos. If I had pulled that Kapanen auto, I would have gasped. Probably my favorite current player in the league.

@@journeyman2003 I'm really excited that Hayden Hodgson is in this year's products; he played on my favorite ECHL team...so I bought into my first ever case break for $6 on just his cards, hoping to get lucky on a couple. Zeeree just opened $1000 worth of packs and I didn't see him come up once. It's a shame that the hobby has come to this as opposed to buying products and hunting stuff yourself.
@@y2josh319 I recommend if you like a certain player to just buy who you like. Buying boxes and stuff will just drain your bank account

Got what, $300-400 back? That’s the problem these days. Price is based on full possible potential of what COULD be pulled. Do you get that all the time? Hardly ever.

I completely understand where you are coming from with the future watches. Definitely would like legit future watch autos, but I don't mind the product overall

I agree with your opinion regarding the retro FWAs, I don't like them either. They're just lazy. I preferred the product from 2013 - 2017. I don't like the Pageantry cards - too flashy for SPA and I am not a fan of the added color variations.
The honest question is, would you rather Upper Deck increase the production run of standard Future Watch Autos to 1499/1799/1999? Or them water it down with retro FWA autos?
Good point. Ok, let’s agree that the retros are not great but wouldn’t that just make the true fwa more valuable since they are harder to pull?

Definitely better showing in this vid. That said, I agree with zeeree that the product is getting waaay too watered down. Damn shame. Also, is it just me or are the relic cards really sp this year??

Your comment about the coyotes is hilarious to me, I live in Arizona and have never been a fan of them, and in recent years it’s been horrible. Plus sharing the rink with a college team it’s pathetic (don’t get me wrong I love ASU and will root for them before the Coyotes

I am kind of sad the way they are adding sonmany parallels to this set. I am a fan of SP Hockey and now it just seems like they should just make SPA blasters.
If a parallel is so common like a red is it not just another base card? That’s the way I see it.
@BuilderBu_Rips before with this set only Future Watch autos and non autos were of 999 and the black of 25. With base being limited to of 99. Now every card have a limited to 399, 199, 99, 1. The draw for sp hockey was the numbered parallels of the rookies and vets. What's the point if you have just as many(if not more) parallels in SPA as SP hockey.

Imagine going to the casino throwing $100 on black and losing it and then crying that the casino took your money. This is the same thing, a big hit or getting your money back in value isn’t guaranteed.
LOL, at least you have a 47% chance of doubling up on black. You will never see anywhere near those odds busting packs. Plus you're not getting paid back in actual currency, it's all speculative.
This is the equivalent of paying someone 100 dollars in exchange for 30 dollars worth of a random cryptocurrency... It might workout, not likely.

It’s not too difficult to understand . Almost everyone buys the product for Future Watch Autos. They add these “retros” to water down the product but continiously charge more. The RFW’s don’t command the same market as a True FW

BOYS!? Can we all collectively agree to take a break from busting packs for a while? Upper Deck is producing some garbage right now that's only going to get worse with Bedard mania, before it gets better. Or you can just carry on getting 20-30 cents of speculative value on the dollar. Everything is so damn saturated unless it's #'d, a rookie, or an auto, might as well stick it all in your bike spokes, or use as kindling.
