I started shouting and crying simultaneously when this dropped. The Guardians are my favorite hero’s (besides spidey) all thrown together in a misfit team full of laughs but more importantly full of heart. This movie is going to be one of very few to have me in tears I can already feel it.

Marvel delivering another classic character with the introduction of the High Evolutionary with Adam Warlock on top of that, Gunn is going out on the highest of notes. It will be interesting to see how they handle Warlock without the soul gem because that’s a huge part of his story. Lock yourselves in fellas, a wild ride is about to begin

This is the one project that at SDCC made me ugly cry, as the footage they showed was even more emotional and the cast on stage had 7,000 crying so much..
I’m sad they didn’t release the SDCC trailer because it was sooooooo good! I was sobbing…but this one didn’t have quite the same emotional pull 😩 still good though!

The other antagonist is "The High Evolutionary" and he's played by the same person who played Murn in Peacemaker!
Once I saw Jay laughing and Adam looking exasperated; I knew that the trailer must have dropped as Jay was walking out the door after the Indy trailer. Hahaha! Oh yes, tissue at a Guardians movie is a must!!!😂
The villain is the High Evolutionary-we saw that town (planet?) of his evolved animals known as the New Men in the comics. Normally they're on Mt. Wundagore, but they wisely separated that in Dr. Strange 2, as these animal people raised actual-616 Wanda and Pietro.
So possibly Rocket and that otter were some of the Evolutionary's earlier experiments?
Hope we get to see him alter the reaction so Cap has his adamantium/vibranium alloy shield.

Guys get ready this weekend. Brazil comic con started today, those trailers were all out after their respective panels + Kevin Feige and the cast of Quantumania was there to close the night. Expect more trailers bc the event will last the whole weekend.
I think the Spacehog - In The Meantime pick for the song in the trailer was masterfully selected. I think it fits it perfectly and adds to the emotions when watching the trailer.

Guardians Vol 1 quickly became my favorite Marvel movie, and I loved Vol 2 every bit as much. Seeing this trailer, I’m confident I’ll love Vol 3 just as much, if not more. I can’t wait!

The High Evolutionary created Rocket Racoon and Adam Warlock. Adam is probably his defender even though in Guardians 2 its the "Gold People" The Sovereign who created him but we'll see. The High Evolutionary is a great villain for the Guardians because if they're running its probably from him. That town they land in with all the Anthropomorphic creatures is his handiwork, (maybe). What a random song from Spacehog "In The Meantime".
I think most people are hyped for the emotions and probably the action and humor too but I'm most excited seeing an otter!!! That made me so happy! And fluffy baby Rocket too! Ahhh!
Have to say, would not surprise me if in them doing Rockets story in this, if it's kind of an homage to him and He's the one we lose in this film. Which for me, out of every character, would be the hardest loss for me to handle. In fact after watching the trailer again, Rockets words about flying away one last time into the forever. it will probably be him or Quill making the ultimate sacrifice. In a way, would be fitting conaidering where Rocket came from abd only caring about himself to making the ultimate sacrifice for his "family" would be such a perfect ending but so heartwrenching.. It's going to be so awesomely hard, already tearing up

This is gonna make me cry so much for so many different reasons
2023 is going to be an absolute MCU madhouse - What If 2, Ant Man 3, Secret Invasion, Guardians 3, Echo, Loki 2, The Marvels, Ironheart, Agatha, and probably at least 1 or 2 surprise specials.
I knew one of them had to be near breaking point for this one. Honestly, I thought it'd be Jay. I didn't anticipate that his exuberance over Adam's frustration would get him through it. Very good. Oh Adam. Didn't anyone warn you that Brazil was having it's own comic con and there'd probably be a bunch of trailers and news dropping? That's their bad. Not mine. I'm still figuring out how to use Discord and, if it keeps me out of trouble, I don't quite understand this...what do they call it, winter vet? See, totally blameless.

I just watched the Rise of the Beast reaction and the Indiana Jones reaction and seeing how Adam is like @#$%!! and saw this was dropping and just died laughing.
Also I think in the original Rocket Raccoon comic, his girlfriend was an Otter so I wonder if that otter he hugged is that character. 🤔

The villain is called High Evolutionary. James Gunn introduced him at Comic Con and I believe that he is the one that did in fact create Rocket.
Not gonna lie…..I don’t think Rocket is making it out of this movie alive and I don’t know if I’m gonna be able to handle it…..

This movie is going to be so fucking emotional. Especially after the Guardian's Holiday Special being the last thing we see them in before this. I'm so scared about this movie, but it's gonna be such a good wrap-up for them I think. I cried so hard over Yondu, and I think I honestly cry more every time I watch it.

I was as surprised as you guys on all the trailers that dropped in close succession. They also announced the date for Mandalorian 3 (March 1st) so some big deal thing was going on today.

After your comment of having to come back for the Transformers trailer, I knew this sequence of increasing annoyance at the new trailers drops coming, and what a thrilling trilogy that was to enjoy.
If anyone needs to know the name of the song playing in the trailer, it's Spacehog - In the Meantime. When I heard it I wanted to cry :) That was the song playing on my car stereo when I kissed my wife for the first time on our very first date like 25 or so years ago
I think Peter, gamora, and mantis are safe but rocket has said at least once that he doesn't have that long of a life span and given that we're getting a lot of his back story in this one and the dialog we've heard I think we're going to lose rocket and Dave said he isn't coming back as drax so I think we're losing him too which is sad but beautiful as he's going back to his family. I think Peter's crying is over rockets body and mantis's is over draxs. James said this will be the saddest mcu film so far, I'm really nervous and I'm bringing boxes on boxes of tissues with me
You all need to have Grace splice all three Transformers/Indy/Guardians into a Palooza with time stamps of when you all were recording vs when Jay left,etc. just as a separate post. It is a funny progression already but throwing real time reality into it would be fun to see.

The villain is the high evolutionary. He's the one that experiments on Rocket. He's always looking for advancements in sentient evolution
The High Evolutionary (Chukwudi Iwuji from Peacemaker) is the main villain of the film. His base of operations in the comics is Mt. Wundagore, but it looks like it'll be Counter-Earth in this movie (that's the suburb with the animal-human hybrids). The High Evolutionary will be the one who created those hybrids and Rocket in pursuit of creating perfection. Adam Warlock and the Sovereign will likely be secondary and Adam likely will ultimately go on to side w/ the Guardians in the end and go on to be a major part of the new team, as it seems likely that we'll lose at least a couple Guardians in this one
This trilogy of trailer reactions gotta be Top 5 Previewed lore moment.
Funny thing is the same thing happened to me with these 3 trailers... but for me it was in reverse with me bringing each trailer for me and my roomie to watch lol
I agree so much I cried like a baby on my first watch of guardians vol 2 it’s in my top 3 MCU movies ever. Even thinking about the Colors of Ogord makes me tear up.
Fun fact about the GotG movies. The color title logo indicates who's not going to make it.
The first one was Groot brown.
The second was Yondu blue

Dave Bautista has already said that Volume 3 is his last time playing Drax…..I think that’s where the tears and screaming are coming from.

I think they landed on Counter Earth, a planet placed by the High Evolutionary (the silent black guy) where he experimented iperevolution of animals into the so called New Men: Rochet is one of the iperevoluted animals made by the High Evolutionary

Definitely the otter is Lylla, Rocket's old love interest and partner before he teamed with Groot.
Who would have known, that a franchise of obscure Marvel characters, would become their best trilogy of films. Looks amazing/gut wrenching.

Once I was sick with a head cold and extremely congested. I intentionally watched vol 2 in order to cry to get everything out my head. It actually worked.
Meanwhile my 73 year old mother has watched both 1 and 2 over a hundred times and cried every single time. GotG is her favorite Marvel property.

this is the one upcoming mcu movie that i’m truly excited for yet dreading so much at the same time. the gotg movies have been my favorites out of all of them, i could rewatch them a million times and still enjoy them so this one’s really gonna hit me in the heart and i’m not ready for it at all

Rocket had four death flags in that damn trailer. If he survives I will honestly be surprised.
Remember, James Gunn got us crying over a tree in Guardians 1, when we had just met all of them. Then cry over Yondu in Guardians 2. Then cry over Gamora being killed in Infinity War. Then cry when all of them were blipped except Rocket and Nebula, who then spent 5 years without their friends/family, forcing them to make new friends and family and fight for them. I mean, James Gunn is going to single-handedly make stocks for Kleenex rise when this movie comes out.
