Man, i remember grog's revenge for the c64, i didn't know what I was doing but it was great fun and the one game that always come to mind except the previous one is the SNK shooter Prehistoric Isle. P.S nice chrono trigger 65 million BC theme in the background 😁👍🏼 Thanks for the video 😊
I feel like there were 2 things missing from this video. Dino Riders, the greatest 80s toyline. And Evo The Theory of Evolution. Not to be confused with evo the search for eden. Theory of evolution is a more traditional jrpg that is truly amazing. Wat better than search for eden
AHHHH! How did I miss out on DIno Riders??? Had to Google it and it brought back memories! I didn't remember the name but once I saw pictures of the toys...oh man. My friend had a few of those. I completely missed EVO Theory of Evolution. Dang. Thanks for the heads up.
@@gamingquarterly6353 One of the things I vaguely remember remember from childhood was this commercial for a company that helped people patent things, and their mascot was a caveman with a wheel. Makes perfect sense now 👍
I had a couple packs of 'Dinosaur Attacks' which came out in '88. They were in the same vein as the 'Mars Attacks' packs that would inspire the movie. In fact, double checking the name, Tim Burton wanted to do a Dinosaur Attacks movie as well but Jurassic Park foiled his plans for that.
I had to look that up. Interesting stuff. Thanks for bringing it to my attention. Cards were a big deal back then. I recall collecting the Garbage Pail Kids and the TMNT tv show cards, which I still own. I also have the Lion King collection...for some reason. A cheesy Tim Burton dinosaur movie sounds like something I would have enjoyed back then.
Don't forget far Side also has cows, mosquitoes, aliens, worms, lions...😄 The flintstones did make a big comeback in the late 80s and early 90s. Weird to think about it. I have never played Eternal Champions but I do recall the big brute in Time Killers. What a weird time that was.
Careful. There is a balance to maintain with the United Kingdom. If we agree to never call the computer the Zee X Spectrum, they agree to never call the amine Dragon Ball Zed.
Because Conan films made it popular... but on cartoons and videogames it was a no brainer due to 2d graphics... 3d kinda ruined that completely and so did the idiots who felt only 3d games should be made.
I did not take that into consideration. Interesting. Conan was huge in the late 70s and early 80s in comics before the movies. I guess in some ways, that led to He-Man being popular as well.

Good video, subbed.
Dang, I never really thought about the preponderance of cavemen media in the early 90s until now!
Glad I could bring that to your attention.

What is/was some of the best content you all enjoyed the most during this peak time? Or the worst??

I LOVED DINOSAUCERS!
PC Engine had a few good Caveman games.
Far Side comics had cavemen in them. And Flintstones was still huge. Also Eternal Champions and Time Killers had cavemen in them.

😄
What about the insurance ads with the cavemen?
The Geico commercials came out in the early 2000s. I assume you mean those. If there are others, I have not seen them.
Chrono trigger? Or did that come after 1995?
I thought about adding Chrono Trigger to the list, but instead just used the OST music for that era in the background.
