I mostly play in standard, half step, or full step, or drop d of those as well. Put I like playing slipknot stuff but j dont want to go up in string gauges. I currently use 9s. They dont sound great with drop b/a

hmm that means you need tune up your 2-6 strings on one tone, I'm afraid the standard strings will be too thick for that.😅
but you won't know until you try it ;)
