- in this video I show you a new to me way of sowing and growing my parsnips, I plant out some lettuce, sow some flowers and the post man calls with an unexpected parcel.

Hi Graham yes I am very happy with them as this is the best germination I have ever had, in the past I have had to buy 2 or 3 packs of seed just to get 12 to 15 plants. Thank you All the best Wayne.

A better title might have been about your garden, not just parsnips. I just clicked on to learn about parsnips. No disrespect intended, but you might get more views if you condense your video to be mainly about what's on the title.
Hi Emma, Thank you for your comment and yes I would agree with you but only if this video was all about growing parsnips, I did explain what the video is about in the intro and the only reason I used A new way to grow parsnips as a title is because that is exactly what I had found for me at least, but I will keep this in mind with any future videos. Could you explain the purpose of bottomless pots round your parsnip seeds, please? Cheers.
Hi Dalesman, bottomless pots are used to let the main tap root of a parsnip grow, if you us a normal pot you could snap the tap root when planting out and end up with a stunted parsnip, hope this is helpful and thank you for watching. All the best Wayne.

Well you are right you don't have to use pots but growing in pots means you can get parsnips started earlier than sowing direct into the ground
