Most of these exercises you can just do for time... So it would depend on your strength level. Example Hollow body holds for 3 sets of 15 seconds. As you get stronger, you just increase the time.
In all honesty, of all the ab videos I've seen so far, this one seemed to be very useful and thoughtful. You've emphasized on core health, nutrition and functional exercises that look challenging and interesting. Thank you.
Hi Marcus, Another fantastic video. I was wondering as a trainer/coach do you have a set of core principles/fundamentals that guide you through how you train yourself and others?
Ever since discovering your videos, I have gained a fresh perspective on full body training and utilisation of movement that better suits my age group (52) and physiology. The manner in which you present and describe each exercise is brilliant with suitability for all levels. Thank you for taking the time to share your knowledge and experience with others, as I feel that you are ahead of the curve with your Functional Body Building course.😊❤👍
The banded Palloff Press os absolutely amazing. I usually do that in my warm up to get the body ready for lifting. Then later, I will do them again to build strength.
The categorisation of the different types of abdominal exercises is insightful for me. It helps me think about how each type achieves different objectives
I have a slipped disc in my lower back. Conventional sit ups and things like Burpee‘s & Mountain climbers kill my back. Ever since I put these workouts into my routine my lower back and hip pain is gone. I feel so much stronger. Thank you Marcus so much!! You’re one of the best trainers and coaches online.
hey thanks for these videos i am a 65 year old male and i started with fittnes when i was 17 years old now my body looks like a 30 year old sortsmen but i see that there are movements that i have never done zo thank you for the videos i wil try them out in the gym thanks john D
What an excellent video! Thanks for this! However, I think it'd have been a bit more useful for noobs (like myself) if you'd included sets/reps/rest periods as well with each exercise... Just sayin'...
This content is super valuable!! So glad I've found your channel! Looking forward to working on these. As I said before, so well explained, executed and presented!!! Thank you

Excellent video Markus, I’ve been weightlifting for the past 3 years and I just started your persist body comp program 2 weeks ago. Your workouts are challenging, functional and fun! I look forward to progressing with your FBB programs.

Hope it is not asking for too much, but it would be great if you could add a bulleted summary of the video in the description. Thanks.

In my opinion you should remove the mini intro right before each exercise, because they are useless

I know this is very subjective, but what weight kettlebell do you think would be good to purchase for these to start out?
I often see 35 lbs (16 kg) as the recommended starting point.
