Lake Waccamaw, NC is a beautiful place, simply beautiful; and so very peaceful! I like the fact that those houses are across the road from the lake instead of being on the lake's bank. This way, everyone has a chance to share and enjoy the lakes scenic beauty and awesome serenity without obstruction. That's how it should be everywhere.

The lake waccamaw seems very beautiful . The houses' all location looks to this lake . I hope that is clean of the water . In the summer is ideal for swim where . 👍👍👍👌

Yes, the water is clean. Lake Waccamaw is fed by four creeks: First, Second, Third, and Big creeks. The outlet forms the Waccamaw River which flows south-southwest to empty into the Atlantic Ocean near Georgetown, South Carolina

That is so beautiful.... I would love me a half acre away from the lake that I could put a modular home and have some chickens and garden. I looked on Zillow but didn't see much for sale.

There is plenty of farm land just off from the lake. Someone should not mind selling a little bit of it. There is at least one public boat access area and a nice State Park facility. I've always noted that there is only one restaurant for the whole lake and almost no commercial businesses near the lake. I've never actually been in the lake, but I've seen various photos that makes me realize how shallow most of the lake is. I think that is why many of the docks extend way out from the shoreline. Whiteville is the nearest town that has some basic shopping areas and restaurants.
