- A lot of people play KSP. And we all play it differently...
To each his own.

A minimalist using two fuel tanks, and more than one landing gear? Don’t make me sick
With balance you can just use 1 wing (with fuel in it), 1 intake, 1 engine (with thrust vectoring), and a seat.
Of course, part welding mods exist.
@@actually5004 You can get it down to three parts using one wing (again with fuel) a command pod (with Reaction wheel) and the goliath engine. The goliath has an integrated intake.
@@pdes_ Wouldn't a Goliath be Quite... Overkill?
@@nukl3argam3r38 sir... this is ksp?
how many do u use -1
For anyone struggling with the problem at 1:06, hold ALT and the parts will only connect by the nodes.
I HAVE BEEN PLAYING THIS GAME FOR NEARLY A DECADE HOW DID I NOT KNOW THAT
Thanks for the tip mate
Thx for the useful tip!
HOW HAVEN'T I KNOWN THAT FOR THE WHOLE TIME PLAYING KSP?!
Tank for the tip.
"The large plane guy"
Yeah, i can fly your space station to orbit in one launch. NBD.
sounds like matt lowne bringing the iss in one launch
@@insertnamehere7712 Bruuuuh Lmao
Can confirm I am the "large plane guy". They are actually really easy to make if you know what you're doing.
@@johnadler6987 i agree
Minimalist: Me when playing science or career mode
Big Planes: Me
That Guy Who Makes Rovers: Me
The throttle thing for the newbie was relatable I spent like five outs trynna figure it out
Same😅
This is what tutorial is for.
@@jedinight235
They were all for staging and solid boosters though and all the others were super complicated
What are settings for? I always look for key bindings in games, if i dont inderstand how something work.
@@O5MO
What
Then there’s just “matt lowne” and it’s just his interstellar SSTO from “into the warp”
I went through that and looked it at that thing shot by shot to recreate it, it is complete garbage. Way too much oxidizer, and it only has enough fuel to just barely make it to LKO. If you want an SSTO of his that's capable, build Blunderbird 2, or the Dragon from his Jool 5.
@@SRFriso94 you know... Matt's ssto doesn't use oxidizer u can just remove the oxidizer entirely if you don't know.. he don't use the closed cycle mode for the R.a.p.i.e.r. engine he use the nerve when out of the atmosphere
3:39 me in a jet in war thunder
Phantoms be like, *snaps your wing for slightly touching pitch and roll*
In defense of roverguy, sometimes you need a rover on your non-Kerbin base.
I think it meant people who build rovers on kerbin
@@jn.r It makes sense to test them before launching them tho
@@Chuckiele building and praying is what I do
@@jn.r easy science, rovers are so easy and cheap. I have perfected the rover
I used SRB's for a cargo plane when I was first trying to build aircraft, how the times have changed
I’m trying to use SRBs to beat the air speed record
They *are* good for takeoff assistance
And now you use nuclear propulsion)
Hello can i as'k something.?? What this name game and for PC or Mobile.???
@@winnabakery9998 This is Kerbal Space Program. Its on PC and Console.
From the fact that I thought the "large" plane was small, I guess I know what type I am
0:53 any landing you can walk away from, right?
Whoever goes up must come down
Unless something is seriously wrong
You missed me: I make small planes that go really fast and have crazy good stall speed characteristics while maintaining good energy retention in a turn... I got carried away making jet fighters with BD armoury lol
Wait but how you land a kerbals on a land on the fast planes? Do ya make parachutes?
You use air brakes
Fun fact: if you make a micro fighter using a rapier and relatively good aerodynamics you can go upwards of Mach 10. It got to the point where my biggest problem was heating. I love using it to intercept my friends’ high altitude bombers
1:04 :The newbie.
Wow,how do newbies learned how to find parts they needed perfectly.
Who wouldnt
@@ajaxcuul3614 A newbie
@@lr8198 I don’t even play the game and even I would know the parts bruh
@@lr8198 of course not all of them but still
By watching YT vids
This channel reeks of potential
Don't stop making high quality videos and people will start noticing
I'll define myself as an "overloader" because i always work with like MK1 and MK2 pieces but always full them with extra stuff "just in case" like "this is a pretty cool antenna", "here are some space batteries", "a cool backup parachute system", "I'll definitively need rcs" "this unmmaned guidance system goes here to let the crew rest" and so on. xD
I feel like I’m a mixture of all these people
2:14 he inspired me to make "The super crazy SSTO" that surprisingly flies
Confession, I have never successfully landed a plane on a runway, I always needed way more margin of error for my approach
3:48 this felt like a personal attack
My first thought on seeing your minimalist plane is that it was still more complicated than you needed it to be. For example, you could swap to one of the wing types that carry fuel. They're a lot more efficient than tanks..
So, I think you can all can guess what type of KSP pilot I am, lol.
2:54 gAS GaS GaS IM GonNA StEp On DA Gas
What I love is how all of these planes are better than ones I make- even the rover flies better, and that doesn’t even fly!
Me: gets probe to duna multiple times:
Also my spaceplanes: 1:42
same
This is probably one of the only realistic depictions of a newbie among all "types of gamers" videos in general.
Everyone has already tried to push the throttle up with the mouse once
I like to think myself as a MiG pilot. Everything I make looks like it was made by a Soviet engineer in the 60's. And for some reason most payloads looks like missiles
That "Newbie" one was TOO realistic.
“The Minimalist” and “the Large Plane guy” are each other’s worst nightmare.
1:35 AWESOME Man!
0:59 probably genuinely me when i had first started trying to make a plane, i actually had a lot of trouble...
I'm one of those "I have no idea how to land so I cover the top of the plane with parachutes and use landing gear struts that stick into the ground to act as a brake when I land on a slope" type of player.
"the small plane guy" now makes me wonder what does he count as a large plane
The "not too big plane" is nothing compared to my Saggitarius spaceplane
3:55 I made Super Formula 19 with realistic aerodynamics
You forgot the "Forgot/didn't know about air intake" guy
Ideas for next video: The optimizer 34kg of liquid fuel remaining after a 7 hour mission with 28 gravity assists? Lets revert to vehicle assembly building and do some more tweaking.
The parallel operator: 12 hours to next maneuver node? Better go to mission controll and find something to launch in the mean time.
The financial analyst: with this craft I can do 7 tourist missions to kerbin orbit in one launch with a 120% profit margin, this optimizes ingame cash per real time hour and represents a 6% improvement over my previous design.
I was playing ksp right about when the moar boosters update came out and a new friend tought we now need more boosters to lift of the ground
Bruh, when he said "How does the throttle work?" I got flashbacks
I'm definitely a large plane guy
The Wunderwaffen engineer: makes the Ho 229 (which spoiler alert flies perfectly), Me 262, Me P1101, Ta 183, Ta 252, ...
thanks for big plane idea
Big plane is very small. I've got pre-robotic parts mining VTOL SSTOs several times that size.
what are pre-robotic parts?
you forgot one ... "the drunkard" ;) lol , nice vid !
Large Plane Guy just pulled a post stall maneuver after take off in an instant :/
(yeah "Post Stall Maneuver" is from ace combat pls don't hurt me)
*that guy who makes rovers*
there's some real sickos who play this game.
I thought of at least 10 different improvements for the first one
The minimalist: basically a V-1 flying bomb.
My brain just split in half after watching the noob
Idk how u got footage from my computer to use for the newbie section but im not happy about it
I might have cackled at the big plane guy
I dont even play KSP and yet I got more intelligence in the KSP parts then the newbie
The Large Plane Guy needs to up his game. He's got nothing on my monstrosities :D
That guy who makes rover could be called rovermaniac
Bro I spent 5 years trying to work the throttle and gave up and used soild rocket engines until I look it up
I’m the type of pilot to build a genuinely cool looking craft but then add those unnecessary wings at the front and then 20 midair backflips later decide to remove them
Love it
NICE ROVER!!! :)
The big plane dude is cool
I couldn't ever master landing, or steering, so my plane just deployed parachutes when I wanted to stop.
It never went particularly fast, so it worked just fine.
Dude cool you add the newbies cos newbies are more..........CREATIVE DUDE!!!
the most accurate part about this video is how everything ends up crashing
I remember basing my first planes on rocket boosters)
Let's just say I'm a nautical engineer based on my records
Same
The bigger the better.
Large plane guy made a mistake I used to make, when I was a newbie large plane guy.
*NOT ENOUGH STRUTS*
3:03 The plane that floats on water perfectly
Hahaha i came back for the MUSIC
1:27 my friend build the exact same thing his first plane
used to be "the newbie" now I'm the Large plane guy
The last type its me!
Then there’s me: Taking my “Ol’ reliable” X-22, making minor changes, sending him out, and crash landing in the water.
I'm certainly the large plane guy
Nobody:
Death star engineers: "It needs to be bigger."
Day 1 of watching this video every day.
3:50 .i make cars, not rovers, but my decorations make my car fly
i think when or if i get ksp I'll probably be the jack of all trades
you forgot the one who try to hit 2000ms without burning
What about the sadistic guy that gets bored with the actual game and builds death contraptions for fun? I've got this one that's a huge fuel tank with external seats mounted radially. On top, there's a spinning aparatus with rocket engines pointed directly downward at the seats. Simply adjust throttle for cook time. After all the kerbals are cooked, it's got a remote guidance unit that can fly it directly into the VAB for extra fun.
I'm definitely the large plane guy
I can relate
I thought "The Newbie" was being built backwards, now I'm sad it wasn't
And then the me who thinks of something nice but ends up with something not actually too bad
I've been laughing for 5 minutes.
when i was a new player i didn't even know how to move camera or place lol
The second plane the large plane guy made looks kinda like the lookheed sr71 blackbird
it flies perfectly but it doesnt land perfecly lmao😂😂
Nice and quite accurate, but you missed one. The guy who only does sci fi.
2:10 Literally Matt Lowne in the old days
Im a this should fly fine and a big plane guy, my planes are so dangerous that anywhere with kerbals on board have to be ejectable and have parachutes, the only one to successfully fly I left landed next to the hangar on display
0:53 - i wonder of what are made kerbals that they are more resistant than most of parts in KSP
Ive dropped jeb from orbit all the way back down lol
Soooooo coooool
When I started playing there weren't even wings.
And then there is me which make 2000 ton planes.
I think I'm a minimalist but like large rockets
The second 1 was so funny 😂😂😂😂😂😂
ill say am the large plane guy
I think I'm the large plane guy, but I'm not entirely certain, because I never finish my plane.. I keep exceeding the part limit
Nice big plane design, I'll try land that plane on the mun
noob:this is fine plane:am I a joke to u
Building in KSP? Never heard that.
